Thanks very much DesolatElife for all of your reviews, comments, and support. A keen eye, a good friend.
I'd like to be optimistic for once in my life...to be able to look at the infinite amounts of hypocrisy, arrogance, hatred, violence, corruption, and greed that shows up every day in this world, and just walk away and sing. Knowing there's not a whole lot I can do about any of it, I tend to vent in poetry, but who reads this stuff anyway, who really reads anything anymore?
The state of disinformation in this world seems mind boggling to me. It appears sometimes to be almost to the point that two people could stand on the street corner on a bright sunshiny day and argue about how hard it's actually raining...some of that ridiculosity is found in my poetry, especially the religious, political, and social commentary types of poems.
Still, I have some measure of faith that there are some great people left in the world, and I also believe they are largely overlooked because 'the game' repulses them so much in so many ways that they refuse to play, they refuse to cheer the players and champions, instead, they choose to live their lives where they can, the way they can, and still look themselves in the mirror each day, and reflect good. It's sort of hard to reflect good if you don't have a good mirror to view what you're projecting. That's supposed to be what friends are for. I have a few, good people all.
My poems are here and there, they're here because they're not there...

This story released by the AP today (pronounced "a pee") describes action taken by U.S. Marshals to seize contaminated and harmful products produced by a company in Utah. While going into great detail about nothing very specific, the article in my opinion is intended to make people scared, and that's all. 1

It's amazing to me to read filth in the press that gets passed off as journalism. The other day I read a story by some French reporter that empathized with the poor Saudi nations belonging to OPEC and how they needed to raise the price of oil to try and maintain their standard of living in these hard times, while thJune 1, In Life, My own personal thoughts, Real time, School, Spur of the moment. 1,200 words. → Make first comment?

DesolatELifE on February 2'On a good day, it's poetry in motion. On a bad day, it's inspiration.'
If it wouldn't probably seem a little strange, I'd finish my comment at the quotation. I just wanted to agree. -
