I was born in 1964 in South Africa where I lived until the age of 21. I moved to Israel where I now live. I am married and have 3 amazing children. I have been writing poetry for about 7 years, it all began with a personal crisis. My poems are short and I try to keep them simple, since I believe that complexity ties us up and I aspire to freedom. I believe in living in the present, something that is not always easy to do. ALthough I may not always succeed, I try to live by the following: Only love begets love.

I just wanted to say that your profile made me happy. That's because I've been listening to some great music: Jesse Cook's "Nomad" album and Vas' "Sunyata". They're Middle-Eastern, desert-themed music, and when I read your profile, my brain just went "Wooooo..." O.O Just wanted to tell you that.
