Well where shall I start? I haven't been on allpoetry for a very long time and I believe I have changed a lot since then... my homepage here used to be so depressing... it all sounded like I really felt sorry for myself or something! It just really hit me that life has really improved and I'm really starting to grow up. Life still isn't perfect, but it never will be and I can accept that now and live with it.
Most of ma best friends left school last year! Maria and Skye I miss you guys, don't get me wrong. but why dwell on the past? I've accepted that you aren't here anymore and I've had to move on and make new friends. and I love my new friends very much. I'll never forget you guys though! ya still an important part of my life.
I was in a fairly serious relationship with a guy last year. and although we were off and on a lot I thought we were going to be together a lot longer... however our 15 month relationship came to an end last holidays as I decided to end it for the final time. I don't regret this decision, we have both moved on. You now have a gorgeous girlfriend and well I'm happy enough being single. I do miss you though, you're a great guy and still one of my best friends. But i believe it was best for both of us to end it.
Another big change in my life has been with my mum... this time last year i hated you! couldn't stand you! but now i can safely say you're my best friend. you've given me the strength to grow and see the outside world for what it really is. life hasn't been easy for the family lately mum, with the loss of your father, but we're sticking strongly together. what happened in the past will never go away and its going to be something that i'll forever have to live with, but i can do so without remorse now mum. i don't blame you anymore.
one very important lesson i've been taught recently is to always follow ya heart... ya listen to ya head and it might tell ya what is best at the time but if ya don't follow ya heart you will always live in regret. thanks to Blair for teaching me this.
