You lack lusterShow poetry

I'm still fighting in this war I've waged with myself for eighteen long years
And every time I think I just won the last battle another bomb drops...

College student on LongIsland, New York
I write when I feel like it, and often times, I go through phases.
This is my second account because I haven't been on my old one in over a year.

I need a fresh start
and writing might be the thing that saves me once again...

"You know its been said that we just don't recognize the
significant moments of our lives while they're
happening. We grow up replacing them with ideas or
things or people and we take them for granted, and it's
usually not until that thing is about to be taken away
that you realize how wrong you've been. Then you realize
how much you really need it, how much you love it."
