I am a 47 year old woman.
I live in south central Pennsylvania, USA.
I have 4 living children whom I homeshcooled for 17 years. We lost one child to cancer when he was three. I also have my first grandchild (currently 3 years old), a boy with curly blond hair and sparkling blue eyes.
I love reading, writing(poetry and prose), horseback riding, playing with my grandson, enjoying a good cup of tea or glass of wine with friends, sitting on the front porch swing with my hubby of 27 years watching the rain pour down, hiking, swing dancing (which I am still learning) and motorcycles.
I own and ride a 1984 Harley Sportser 1000, and a 1984 Honda Shadow 500 (I'm not sure what significance the year '84 has yet, but that's what I ended up with due to the look of the style of both bikes, hmmm.)
I come from a big family and I am, or at least I feel like, the odd ball, the one who doesn't quite conform, in my family and in most settings.
Oh yeah, I am tattooed (a few times), 5'5", weigh in less than I used to, and try to stay fit and healthy.
I am a Youthcare Worker, a type of social work. I work with boys 12-18 in a residential home who are in trouble with the law or in school, etc. and I love it.
My motto is: If you aren't living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.
I have been published in a couple of periodical type mags/papers and used to write for the local newspaper, but that was frustrating--they don't want the truth so much as a juicy story--and I dream of one day writing a novel "that will bring the world to tears"------well, I can dream.

Tonight is not my time--
it never is any more. -
Why do I feel this way? Senses pulsing, nerves throbbing,
