  You can delete this when done..
  It's about the aftermath of a true loved one
  who decided to check out early, on their own..
  Why? I can't know...
  just know that it hurts for a lifetime...
  
  Untold Story
  
  
  To tell the story wouldn’t serve a purpose, save for mine
  It’s best we try to comprehend the things it leaves behind
  
  Minds in total disbelief, confusion at its best
  Hearts torn up beyond repair, and fear in Sunday dress
  
  Families, once filled with love, have long since come undone
  Christmas time and birthdays are no longer any fun
  
  Pictures, books, and all reminders sadly gather dust
  Memories are locked away, collecting mental rust
  
  Questions with no answers and relations filled with strife
  All were judged and sentenced to a term of Tears for Life
  
  Eyes that touch, but never speak of how it used to be
  And, Oh my God, what’s to become of you, of them, of me
  
  Little things, once warm and dear, bring misery instead
  Mannerisms, songs, and smiles: the way a word was said…
  
  Sounds that trigger emptiness, a smell that passes by
  A flower pulled, expressing love, and left alone to die
  
  Words upon a napkin scribbled senseless in the dark
  Lovers holding hands on benches, statues in a park
  
  A cause that lost, a faded dream, a hope that won’t arrive
  All were judged and sentenced to a term of Tears for Life
  
  Talking brings a flood of pain, so there’s no need to ring
  They’re only wanting answers, and I don’t know anything
  
  The story has no ending; at least none that I can find…
  Far better that we understand the things it left behind
