Heya well i am Charlotte (aka Lottie, Charley, Dottie Lottie, Charl, CharleyCot, Charley-horse, Charley-Bug) Hehe dont ask about all the nicknames - I have some weird friends! I first started writing poetry when i was about 8 years old. I may post some of my very first poems up here actually - although back then i was obsessed with finding things to rhyme!
I have to admit that most of my poems are quite dark. Theres a lot about cutting, anorexia and suicide. I may post them all i may not. Who knows! I just feel that its better to write all these negetive feelings down and then i dont have to carry them around with me.
In my spare time i like to read and write poetry. I loved GCSE English Literature because i think that Seamus Heaney and Gillian Clarke are fabulous writers. I also got to read To Kill A Mockingbird which is a fantastic book. Its one of my favourite reads! Some of my other favourites are The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold, The Woman In Black - Susan Hill and Little Women - Louisa May Alcott.
Although I love being in shows i also love seeing them. So far I have seen: Les Miserables (2001 + 2004), The Lion King (2002), The Phantom Of The Opera (2005), Blood brothers (2004, 2005 + 2006), Miss Saigon (2003), Beauty And The Beast (2002)
My Favourite Tv Shows; Sugar Rush, Bad Girls, Desperate Housewives, Fat Friends and At Home With The Braithwaites
I have won one gold for my poem Love me tender (This won the final round of a contest!)
I have won three silver trophies for Mother To Daughter (My one and only published poem), Because and Down From Heaven You Came.
I have won one broze trophy for my poem Farewell Sweet Love

UnderwaterDisco on October 16, 2006I'm sorry but if you do not like it, that is your opinion. I thought it was actually one of my better poems. I thought I used good rhyming and I thought it flowed. I hope this changes your mind. I may not be the poet you want me to be but this is how I wanted it.
