Hello. My name is Moe. I'm am 14 years old, and I live in the USA. I started writing poetry when I was in 5th grade, but I just got really into it in 7th. I am currently in 9th grade, and I enjoy it alot. Thanks to "Poetry.com" I have one poem published, and it's called "Decaying Bliss". That's probably my greatest acheivment. All of these poems were chosen out of several. These are considerd my best peices of work, and I am very proud of them.

My inspiration is based of of two different things. One inspiration is my life expeirence and my emotions (of course that's inspiration for many people.) Another inspiration of mine is Edgar Allen Poe. I consider him to be one of the best story writers/ poets in all of time. I enjoy his work and I can get lost in it as well.

Before you read any of my work, I would like to prepare you. Most of my work is depressing (according to current readers and myself) but keep in mind, it's all based off of events that have happened in my life. I use death as a metaphor to help me describe past relationships with friends, boys, etc. My author notes often describe what the poem is based off of.

Well, I hope you like my work, and just keep in mind, I am young and still uneducated, so I don't have the big vocabulary base reference that many of you older people have. So please, bear with me and give me your input. Your feedback will help build me as a poet, writer, and all around better person.
