Well I haven't decided what I want to be yet when I grow up. I'm forever soul searchin'. Clearly I love Harley
Davidson motorcycles... Hence the name workingharleylady.
Could be worse I use to be Bob Seger in all my usernames. I love Kid Rock and Bob Seger music. Had a mid life crisis at 42 and had my nose pierced (you know, that cute little diamond on the side).
I am a 49 year old woman from Inver Grove Heights, minnesota (about 10 minutes from the Mall Of America).
I have 3 grown children, Joshua born on christmas day, he's almost 30. Jillian almost born on my birthday (she was 10 weeks early)and weighed only 3 lb's, She's 23. And Brittany (she was 3 weeks late) she's 21. I have a son that was born on 09/11/1988, he was 17 weeks premature and weighed 1 lb and was only 11" long. He had an incredibly strong heart and managed to remain with us for 26 days. I have honored him with a poem of his own. 'It takes 26 days to get to heaven'. Each of my children will be honored with a poem of their own. The other poem written so far is for Josh. I titled it 'Born To Me This Christmas Day'. I have a 7 yr old grandson Dominick, He was born,I kid you not on my birthday (I am so blessed). And I have a grandaughter due in July, her name is going to be Savannah Elizabeth. Poem written for her is titled 'It's Time To Be Born'.
I am a college trained carpenter and had been working in the trades (both commercial and residential construction) for 15 years. I can no longer keep up with the young studs (pardon the pun, lol). I have been married to my husband for 19 years. He recently (01/23/2007) underwent gastric bypass surgery and has lost 200 lb's. I also dedicated a poem to him 'Ba ba ba ba da I'm not lovin' it'. Luckily he understand's me, and I do him. Peace to all. I LUV THIS SITE!!! Chrissy
