WillayShow poetry

i write funny poems.
my favorite quotes (that i said) are:
"The arrow has deceived me before"
"I would know. I am santa claus"
"what the funk?"
"You heard it from me! go tell your friends!"
"I am verploot"

my philosophies for life:
It's your opinion that really matters, but it's my opion that really matters to me.
it takes a lot of patience to be lazy. I'm too patient to (insert chore here)
an exploded car is better than no car at all

heres my impression of Julia Child:

(in a high voice) "make a rouex. have a glass of wine. make another rouex. have another glass of wine. debone the chicken. oooh! ive cut myself"

thank you. thank you. please, hold your applause.

Thoughts about myself:
You all know me as a man who sits at the computer and writes about the first word that comes to his mind, a man who devotes his life to either making you laug, gross you out, or make you feel better about yourself in comparison to me. But one question looms: what does willay think of himself? I took a while pondering over this issue, and finally decided that I am quite simply the best poet ever. why it took me so long to come up with such a simple and obvious answer as that one, I do not know.

"i have no fuckin idea what shredding and pentatonic scales are."
As you would say, wow. That just screams "credibility". But seriously, have you ever really listened to one of Angus Young's solos? (Do you even know what a vibrato is?) Whenever Angus Young held a note for more than two goddamn seconds he played a vibrato with it. Now see, the vibratos in Comfortably Numb are good, but they're also the best David Gilmour ever played. (Oh, and did you listen to Whole Lotta Rosie?) If you played the guitar, I'd tell you to listen to You Shook Me All Night Long. The notes fit perfectly with the chord progression beneath them. That may well be the easiest solo Angus Young ever played, but it was brilliant. David Gilmour's best guitar work was in Money. You need to listen to Led Zeppelin. Jimmy Page is an infinitely better guitarist than David Gilmour.

    And dude, Jump sucked.

i highly disagree with both of those comments. IV has stairway to heaven, rock and roll, black dog, and misty mountain hop, and back in black has back in black, hells bells, hoot to thrill, rock n' roll aint noise pollution, and you shook me all night long. Plus, I like the brian johnson-era AC/DC more than the bon scott-era AC/DC

Ok, first of all let me say that no studio solo that angus young ever did is worthy of a top 10. his live solos are great, sure, but i don't find any of his studio solos very good. I will give you that the first solo on comfortably numb is not incredible, but is still decent. the second, however, is incredible. it wouldn't be on my list if i didn't think it was. Sure, it's not that fast, but speed isn't what makes it good. it's good becuase it's melodic, because of the way the notes are maintained, and, yes, the vibratos. what you said about angus young and jimmy page using more vibratos is total bullshit. and you yourself have said that the solo is good because of the vibratos (not that that's the only reason why it's good). and i don't have access to all of those led zeppelin songs you listed (except for dazed and confused), so I'm not gonna say anything about those. and i have no fuckin idea what shredding and pentatonic scales are.

No. The fourth Led Zeppelin album was inferior to Led Zeppelins I, II, and possibly III and Physical Graffiti. And Back In Black is overrated and is inferior to just about every album Bon Scott made.
