I am mutable. I constantly change and battle ideas of those who view me as fickle. Old fashion society seems to look down on mutation,so why do we fear diversity? Why do we fear change. I often go back and reread these pieces of misguided subconscious thoughts that I jokingly call poetry. But in all, that's what they are to me. They are my words. They are the essence of my soul that no one can take away. The imagination is a wonderful tool. In its truest form, it holds no false-ego nor bigoted perception. Maybe it's because we lose our inhibitions when we begin to create and somehow stumble over the real identity of who we are. It's another turf in which our spirits travel to in order to bear witness with one another.

How are you doing? Well, I'm officially taking a poetry class at my community college and I figure that I should try to find that passion for poetry that I seemed to have lost at some point. It's good to see that you're around here still and I hope we can catch up. I think I've forgotten a lot over the years but I know you were always kind to me and I know that kindness isn't something that I usually deserved. So, thank you for that. If you want to email me, you can reach me at jeremy.deforrest@gmail.com. It's good to hear from you and God bless!
