I write poetry for my daughter, she is my Inspiration to write,
now my poetry became part of my life.
My first book is "Inspirations from the Soul"
My second book is "Amber Of Dawn"
My third book is "Amber In The Shadows"

I have received many awards, and also some of my poems are in the
One Hundred Most Famous Poets Book.

Many pages unfolds as the time came to write,I dare not waste,
for these many times of pain that rolls from head to fingers.
As a writer I dare speak of unwanted rhymes for we are
"just poets of our own time."

God is our healer we all believe,Jesus is our savior
we all see.
We all have doubt when worst come to shove.
We all know when the time comes,we all know where we all belong,
for he is our soul he is our spirit from thy Heaven.

I write about love, saddness, things I have seen and also the things that happened to myself also.
I love writing poetry I try to write as many
as I can in a days time.

Inspirations from the Soul
by
Carol Davis
The poems in this book were written from things I have seen and felt. I have put my heart and soul into every poem. They are of happiness, joy, sorrow, and reality. I hope these poems will inspire readers to look at life and maybe become writers themselves. The majority of my poems were inspired from my own experiences within my lifetime. Some of the poems have come from good and not so good things that my friends and family had experienced. Each poem in this book plays a roll in everyone’s life in one way or another. Each poem is written to express that no matter how bad you feel your life is or how happy you are the love in your heart will always be strong. These poems I hope will make the younger generation want to publish their own books of poetry or novels on whatever life’s little experiences bring them.

Please comment on my work and I will return the favor,
we all like to know how it sounds a little bit of work or just
good all the way round.

My Grandmothers Wreath

It once laid upon her head, like our Lord in Heaven
now it lays upon her grave within.
My eyes filled with angel drops that never fell upon
the ground.

Now she lays within this cold faded coffin alone
no sound,no life,no movement within.
Angels sing in harmony from above waiting for her
spirit to come home.

Lord in Heaven hear my plead take her home from this
misery, and give her life beyond Grace.
Take from thy wreath and make it Angels Wings.
Give thee roses of life as brand new petals
reborn to life once more.

Bring spirits from yesterdays wind,to show new
visions of todays light.
Grandmother don't weep for your wings will be
moist, and not fly with your perfect grace.

You have sheltered us long enough go and live your
life with Grandfather, and we shall be together sometime
in the end of this world.
I love you Grandmother, when the Angels sing I know your
right in front of them all singing Amazing Grace.
