Her poetry lives on

January 19,2005..... Tomorrow will have been Tracy's 29th birthday. It has been 2yrs and 5 months since God took this very special person out of our lives. She has been missed dearly. She was a wonderful person and made my dad happy the short time they spent together. But I know that her memories will be in my heart forever. I love and miss you Tracy.

Thanks,
Carolyn McMullen (Tracy's Step-daughter)

September 9, 2003.... It has been over a year now since this wonderful angel from God was taken home to be with Him. God sent this angel into my life years before but we were not meant to be together until just a few months before her death. We fell in love and were going to be married just 3 months after she died. My children called her their stepmom annd still find it hard to accept that she is gone as do I. Her frineds here at Allpoetry meant so much to her.

I would like to get some of her work published but do not know where to start. IF you can suggest or have experience please let me know. My email address is jarjarscool77@yahoo.com.

Tracy, my love, THANK YOU for making my life worth living, making the unbearable, bearable. I love you and miss you soo much that these few words can not describe. You were my every breath, you are in my every thought. You beautiful eyes great me as I look up from my screen and as a walk from room to room.

I Love you baby!
Jr.

Please read her poem "Love is Forever", this poem was read at her funeral and it truly meant aloot for me because it was an accurate description of our love for each other.

Below is the origianl posting that Tracy had here at Allpoetry:

This red headed Texas girl is a writer of her heart. Many poems tell her feelings for the person or persons she cares about, things she cares about, and things that make her laugh. Youngest of 5 children, she finds that being a good friend, a great listener and a shoulder to cry on keeps her feeling needed and wanted. She has known what true love is and how much someone can fill your life and make you feel beautiful. The person that helped her realize that she is beautiful will always special to her. Family means a lot to her and she finds that without a loving family or someone to love her, she wouldn't be a writer. A lot of poetry written is from highschool, while other poems are more recent. All poems have dates!

I got into writing because of a teacher I had my freshman year. I do have lots of new stuff but the childish words of my younger poems let me remember what it was like to find pleasures in the frivalous things
All comments are welcome and much appreciated You can find more of my poetry on my new website. Thank you to those who inspire me to write...

PLEASE CHECK OUT MY BEST FRIEND, KAY'S, POETRY UNDER THE NAME "amphibianrose": SHE APPRECIATES COMMENTS AS WELL AND WILL SURE RETURN THE FAVOR!

FAVORITE QUOTES/LYRICS:
"I like the bed, I'm sleeping in, Just like me it's broken in. It's not old, just older! Like a favorite pair of old blue jeans, the skin I'm in, it's alright with me, It's not old, Just older!" JUST OLDER - Bon Jovi

"Time ain't nothing but time, it's a verse with no rhyme and it all comes down to you, change ain't nothing but change, it's a faces and names, but you know you're gonna make it through. I believe, when you don't believe in anything, I'm gonna hold you, till your hurt is gone. Be the shoulder, that you're leaning, i'll be standing here for the next 100 years, if it all should end tonight, I know it was worth the fight. We'll be standing here for the next 100 years!" NEXT 100 YEARS - Bon Jovi

"If You live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I don't have to live without you" ~Winnie The Pooh

"Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there, with open arms and open eyes" ~ Drive - Incubus

"I'm looking for a way to feel you hold me, feel your heart beat, just one more time. I'm reaching back trying touch the moment, each precious minute, when you were mine. How do you prepare, when you love someone this way, to let them go, a little more each day.... The stars we put in place, the dreams we didn't waste, the sorrows we embraced, the world belonged to you and me, the oceans that we crossed, the innocence we lost, the hurting at the end, i'd go there again, cause it was... B E A U T I F U L! Some days missing you is overwhelming when it hits me that you're not comeing back, and in my darkest hours I have wondered, was it worth it? for the time we had? My thoughts get kind of scattered, but one thing I know is true, I bless the day that I found you!" Beautiful - Jennifer Paige (from the AUTUMN IN NEW YORK soundtrack)

Not only was this a wonderful page to happen upon but the author was an angel. May God protect her precious soul as she sleeps. Even though I never knew Tracy, I feel that she was a very darling person. I wish we had gotten the chance. Her poems are like little pieces of heaven. Her memories will live forever. Thank you for your gifts of poetry. They will mean a lot to us all here at Allpoetry. Nicholas(soulman)
