I'm Travisattva, sometimes reffered to as Travis Christ. I am a benevolent human being with many interests. Some, but not all of my interests include:
HAYTHINA: This is the woman I walk happily with, hands held. She is an amazing poet on this site who has an erotic flair that I enjoy from time to time. Of all the relationships I've had, this one is capitol! Any and all of the sappy poetry I post on this web site you can assume are inspired by her.
BOOKS: I love reading. Aside from Haythina, reading is my favorite past-time. Some of the books I hold with high esteem are: People's History of the United States, Howard Zinn; Siddhartha, Herman Hesse; Buddhism Plain and Simple, Steve Hagen; Zen and the Art of Motercycle Maintenance, Robert M. Pirsig; Tao Te Ching, Lao-Tzu; The Sun Also Rises, Ernest Hemingway; The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, Steven R. Donaldson; Hiroshima, John R. Hersey; Stranger in a Strange Land, Robert A. Heinlein.
The list could go on and on, but these are a few of my most favorite books that I recommend with all my spirit. If you are an avid reader, check these out, and if not, take a look anyway.
JOGGING: I think that is pretty simple. I think about jogging in between cigaretes, and I actually enjoy jogging when I'm a non-smoker. The problem is: I'm rarely a non-smoker. But I do quit from time to time, and normally get in a couple miles before, again, diving nose first off the wagon.
COFFEE: The coffee culture brings together many of my interests; dating, reading, smoking. I think there is nothing more relaxing then spending a warm day at a cafe, reading a book, having a few smokes, and talking to friends. It is a simple pleasure, one though that leaves me more clear minded than if I were to spend the day at a bar.
I think that this is enough interests though. What's above should give a clear idea of how I like to spend my time. I could go on forever listing different things I like to do, but then you'd spend all day reading about me instead of chuckling at my novice poetry. So off you go! Read! Read! Read!

Simple-Minded on April 22, 2004Deep as the eyes of a sage, and just as intent. The esoteric is hidden in your striking vernacular! I often have to read your comments aloud in places just to substantiate the recondite philosophies within; amazing quality and absolutely fascinating. This is a bloke who realises what he's saying, and says what he realises.
