My name is Jessica, but i like to be called Jessi. My writing is very dark, and depressing. I dont know why, but thats just how I write. If you want some happy hopefull poetry, dont read mine. I dont care what people think or say. I write to let out my "inner demons." I do it for me. The reason i post it on here is to get some feed back on it, and maybe meet some people that feel the same way.  

I've been screwed over so may times by everyone I've ever known. I don't like people... So I have a lot of trust issues and that whole deal, (I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about...) But I had a great chance to start over and I took it, and everythings been working out. I've made great friends, even fallen in love with a great guy. I'm sorry to say that my new found peace has made my poetry suffer a lot... I've not been writing and anything I try to force out is just... wrong. I'm sure its just a block I have to work through.

Heres just some random facts about me. Nothing very intresting. I'm pretty sardonic, pragmatic, self-willed, and obstinate. I like to think of myself as just the opposite, which usually adds to the problem, if you will.  I get annoyed really easily. I'm terribly addicted to Degrassi. I waste money on the most random junk. I'm a sophmore. I believe in love at first sight. I miss a lot of people, and sometimes I cry because of it. I think pickles, mayo, and milk are equally gross. green is gorgeous, and if you have green eyes i will envy you like no tomorrow. a lot of times, I get moody for no reason, and although I dont show it, I actually do feel bad afterwards. I really, honestly hate Green Day with every bone in my body. I use big vocabulary in arguments to make my opponent feel inferior. I dont have a favorite anything, and in return say a lot of things are my favorite because I cant decide on just one. Reading is the best. I read alllll the time.  -AIM; good byee lover

Music plays one of the biggest roles in my life. My faviorte band of the moment is the Bright Eyes.  I love alexisonfire, aperfectcircle, avenged sevenfold, bayside, beethoven, blindside, blink 182, brand new, bright eyes, chopin, coheed and cambria saosin, cursive, dashboard, death cab for cutie, deftones, from autumn to ashes, further seems forever, hawthorne heights, him, hoobastank, incubus, jimmy eat world, kittie, mae, matchbox romance, mewithoutyou, modest mouse, motzart, my chemical romance, nin, nirvana, old 311, old metallica, orgy, saves the day, shinedown, slipknot, smashing pumpkins, somehting corporate, spill canvas, sugar cult, switchfoot, system of a down, taking back sunday, the early november, the get up kids, the postal service, the rocket summer, the sophomore year, the starting line, thursday, tool, the used, and weezer. Music is a beautiful thing.

As you see in some of my writing... I am a cutter. I'm not "proud" and it is something I am working through to get over. If you have a problem with that, then I ask you not to read my writing. Also... Please... If you have anything negitive about that to say, dont say it to me. If you feel like you should say something to let me know I'm not alone (which I already know I'm not) or that you can be here for me, feel free. But other then that, just leave me be.

Also, language. I don't feel the need to restrain my slef when I write. So if you have a problem with that, then all I can say is don't read it. The way I chose to express my feelings, and the words I choose to do it are my chioce. And i will not change it for anyone. If AllPoetry has a problem with it, then I will no longer post poems at all.

Other than that, I hope those of you who take the time to read my work, like it. And thanks for the comments, (those of you who leave them.)
