I love when he tucked me in at night,
I even liked when he said sleep tight.
I loved his little nickname he gave
to me when i was 2,
I love him so much, and so much more too.

Father is a bad word

If I had a father, he would mean the world to me. I would give him the very best every father's day, and make sure that he knew I needed him always. I don't have a father though, so what my father means to me is this:
My father a "person" I will never know, means one more parent who refuses to see the beauty in a life they helped to create. Another person who didn't have to think twice before walking away from me. One more person who doesn't care how I feel. Someone who doesn't worry whether I am dead or alive. Someone who saw me as a complete nothing, even though I was not old enough to talk. Someone never cared when I was cold and hungry, or how people treated me. Someone who will never know my laugh, cry, or the sound of me calling them dad. Someone who stole from me what was never theirs to take. Someone who I could only dream of coming to rescue me from the abuse of my mother. Someone who was supposed to be there for me. He is someone who hides from me. He is someoone who keeps the part of me that is missing in his pocket refusing to share what is rightfully mine. He is someone who no longer means anything but pain, anger, and resentment to me. He is someone I would never look up to for anything. He might be something to someone else out there, but he is "NOTHING" to me.

My father is the role model of my life because he loves me just like my mother but he is more special than anything and I am glad to have him in my life because whether he hates me or loves me I will still love him with all my heart even after he dies because even though my mother brought me into this world he helped and that is why I love him.

i miss you everyday of my life
not knowing who u are
where u are
i learned how to deal
a father you were to me
i think it's better this way
don't want you to see what i've become
a father u were supposed to be
u helped give birth to me
crying when u first laid eyes on me
u wept when holding me
still
in the lions cage u placed me
to the world .
you left me
thats all ....i wish a father u would have been .
