I just want to say that none of my poems are meant to hurt any body.I just write what I feel at the time that I am writing.I feel that is what writing is for.For me it is a way to get my feelings out.If I have hurt any body or made you mad in any way,I am truely sorry, but my poetry reflects how I feel and I can't change how I feel. Thanks,TL
Here is my favorite poem of all times….
Poem by: E. E. Cummings
I Carry Your Heart With Me….
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)i am never without it(anywhere i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
I fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)I want no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
A saying by E.E. Cummings that I like......
"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter."
Here are some quotes that I like......
1. Always keep your words soft and sweet, in case you have to eat them.
2. Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you wont have a leg to stand on.
3. Since it's the early worm who gets eaten by the bird, sleep late!
4. You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.
5. We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are dull, some are ugly, and some are pretty. Some have weird names and are all different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.
Here is a website that I use to help me with my writing. It gives you words that rhyme with each other and it also gives you the definitions. I hope this helps someone out. www.rhymezone.com

, but you can just call me TL. I am a very quiet person until you get to know me. I am struggling with a phobia called agoraphobia. This means that I am afraid to leave my house and go places. It has tormented me all of my life, but it has gotten worse the older I get. The only things that get me to live on with this awful torment is; God's love for me, my husband Randy's patience, and my mother's prayers. Every day is a battle for me. But allpoetry.com and the people on here have really helped to make it a little easier on me. So I just want to say thank you to all of you.
I am married to the most wonderful and caring man. His name is Randy. We have no kids, and we don't ever desire to, unless God sees fit to bless us with some. We both love kids, but they're just not for us. Our kids are our five dogs. We have two Chihuahuas, Sammy and Rascal. A Red/Blue Healer, Maggie. A Poodle, Scooby Doo and last but not least a Papillion, Chacha. And believe me they are spoiled just like real kids.
Well describing me is somewhat hard. As I said before, I am a very quiet person until you get to know me. Once you befriend me though, I think that I am a blast to be around. My friends are always saying that I am the goofiest person that they know and I believe them because they are always laughing at me.
I am a fun loving person with an extremely big heart, sometimes too big. I tend to let people run over me and I am usually afraid to speak my mind, because I am afraid of hurting someone or making them mad. I am working on this though. We all need to speak our minds and not worry about what others think. Plus I am not a doormat for people to walk all over.
The things that I enjoy the most are being with my family and friends, (the ones who really love and respect me), being with my husband even if it's just lying on the couch watching a movie, spending time with God, visiting with my mother, and being creative. I love to read any thing that catches my interest, but I especially like books by Stephen King, The Mummy by Ann Rice, the true crime novels by Ann Rule, and last but not least the good ole Holy Bible. I also love to write. I enjoy writing poetry, short stories, and I am attempting to write a novel that is based on my mother, my three siblings, and me. I really love animals. I have ever since I was a small child. I love them so much that if my husband would let me I would have a whole zoo in our back yard.
I am a person of strong Godly morals, one that believes in respecting others and tries to be as curdiest as I can be. I also believe that it is wrong to judge others and that you never know what made a person turn into the person that they did. I really believe in this saying, "You never know what a person has gone through until you have walked a mile in their shoes." I also believe that even though I am grown up now I still have to obey my parents, not meaning that I have to do everything that they ask, but showing them respect even if we disagree and trying to help them out if they ever need it.
Well I think that I have wrote enough down here, (maybe a little too much), but I wanted to give you a little glimpse of what kind of person I that am. I hope that you enjoy reading my work and that I can make friends here at allpoetry.com.
Thanks for reading, TL
Here is a poem that really touched my heart. I just want to say that I am not homosexual and I feel that it would be wrong for me to be. See the key word here, (ME). I am a Christian and I believe that it is wrong to judge others. Who was it that Jesus helped? It wasn’t just people who believed in God. It was sinners too. He did not shun them. Why should we? Who are we to condemn others to hell? It is not our place to do that. It is only God’s place and His alone. It says in the Bible that there will be people in heaven that we never thought there would be and then there will be those not there that we thought would be there. Please the next time that you meet someone like this in this poem, be nice to them. Would you want to be treated badly just because you like the opposite sex? I think not. If we could all just look inside ourselves and realize none of us are perfect and that we all have some kind of sin in our lives. I think we could all get along much better. STOP JUDGING AND LET ONLY GOD DO THAT!
HOMOPHOBIA IS WRONG
I am a girl kicked out of her home because
I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.
I am the prostitute working the streets
because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.
I am the sister who holds her gay brother
tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.
We are the parents who buried our daughter
long before her time.
I am the man who died alone in the
hospital because they would not let my
partner of twenty-seven years into the room.
I am the foster child who wakes up with
nightmares of being taken away from the
two fathers who are the only loving family
I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.
I am one of the lucky ones, I guess.
I survived the attack that left me in a coma
for three weeks, and in another year I will
probably be able to walk again.
I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed
myself just weeks before graduating high school.
It was simply too much to bear.
We are the couple who had the realtor hang
up on us when she found out we wanted to
rent a one-bedroom for two men.
I am the person who never knows which bathroom
I should use if I want to avoid getting the
management called on me.
I am the mother who is not allowed to even
visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised.
The court says I am an unfit mother because
I now live with another woman
I am the domestic-violence survivor who found
the support system grow suddenly cold and distant
when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who has
no support system to turn to because I am male.
I am the father who has never hugged
his son because I grew up afraid to show
affection to other men.
I am the home-economics teacher who always
wanted to teach gym until someone told me
that only lesbians do that.
I am the man who died when the paramedics
stopped treating me as soon as they realized
I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because
I think I could be a much better person if I
didn’t have to always deal with society hating me.
I am the man who stopped attending church,
not because I don’t believe, but because
they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what
this world needs most, love.

I DIDN’T WRITE THIS, BUT I LOVE IT…….
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have you heart broken probably more than once and it’s harder every time. You’ll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You’ll fight with your best friend. You’ll blame a new love for things and old one did. You’ll cry because time is passing too fast, and you’ll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back. Don’t be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
Live simply. Love generously.
Care deeply. Speak kindly.
Leave the rest to God.
God made you beautiful,
you are his masterpiece!
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
-Philippians: 4:13
Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow.
Don't walk behind me, I may not lead.
Just walk beside me and be my friend.
