I'm not particularly "troubled" like the typical teenage poet, so you're not going to find a lot of depressing poetry here. Maybe a bit, since everyone has those days.

My personality tends to contradict itself. For example,
I'm a young lesbian Republican atheist vegetarian. Yes, that exists.

I have to be in a certain mood to rhyme, but when I do, I often like those better than my free verse poems.

I like to leave long detailed critiques, and I would be thrilled if you would do the same.

    On your update; I don't believe that it is a change in your poetry's style that brought about less comments.
    It seems that as time went on, everyone started commenting less.
    Only a select few members seem to ever get a vast amount of comments, unlike the time between 2004-2006.
    It's pretty horrid, but you shouldn't feel like readers don't like your new style. AllPoetry has just become a place for kids who care about nothing but being rockstars and pretentious poets who believe their poetry lords over all.
    You're an amazing writer, never think different.

    You're a much better poet than I was at 15. Your work is emotionally evocative in simple ways, and I especially enjoyed your season-themed poems. I appreciate very much when I come across writing that I like. I have to dig on this site, but every now and then I'll find someone like you! Thanks for posting your stuff.
