Whenever I come across a writer whose poetry I enjoy, I get happy.
 <--- Notice the smiling face?
-
hey! i was just gazing through your poetry, kind of in a rush, quick fix kinda thing cause i gotta go so couldnt comment on anything particular just wanted to let you know you have some really good stuff and expect me back haha :]
-
Hey! I've been reading your poetry off and on today and it has truly been inspiring..
-
This poem made me remember how much I miss where I am from and the firelies in the summer there. Nice work, Karina.
-

Whenever you are able to comment is fine with me. I know what it's like not to have lots of time and as long as we just take each day, eventually we will get there. I do hope you are loving it where you are and please leave your thoughts on my poem wall, when you can. I know I'll be doing the same for you.
Still got no hair? Or did you let it grow back.

adjective : Just came back to AP on September 30, 2007
and I saw you wrote me something on my page. That made me feel good inside. Even if I didn't really know you and I haven't been on this site in a looooong time. It was good to know someone said something!
Anyways, I'm semi-back to the site. I decided I had to leave abruptly earlier because I was in the midsts of a depression that poetry wasn't helping, and it wasn't helping my poetry either. So now I'm better and shit So maybe I'll be around more. I see you've really developed as a writer since I left, I look forward to reading some poems a little more deeply and leaving you some comments as requested .
-
I read some of your poems the other day and did not get the chance to comment. I will try my best to be able to stop by sometime today...I miss your poems. But it's my fault.

monstruo : It's Jake... on March 3, 2007
and I've got a new profile. Not using 'I am the Raven'/'The Monster' anymore. How are you doing now a days anyway? Hope all is well.
-
Well, I finally have the internet again, and its good to see AP still has one of it's finest poets. It feels good to read your words again.
-Jake

Karina love, I posted new poetry...
-
to spare all the shitty comments. you're just all around amazing
-
you look vaguely familiar in that non-photo up there. As for the lost poet thing, as I haven't written anything in 6 months or so, I think maybe mine snuck off, then hood winked yours into playing hooky. But as you posted 15 hours ago, I'll assume she came back.
-
hahahahaha at kiwibox. I hope god sends a little lightening their way, ya know what I'm saying?
-
I feel really stupid. Kiwibox and all.
Oh and they deleted my poem "Down by the Water" (Kiwibox) ... yeah, they can't handle anything.
HI THOUGH
-
-
you smell funny!
...
<_<
*runs away*

It's late. Or early, rather, but I haven't slept in a few nights, so it's all the same to me.
5:55 a.m. Kiss the ceiling.
I pick up my coffee mug, ready for the bitter taste of Starbuck's morning blend. But my cup is empty. Kind of the way you feel afer pulling two all-nighters.
So I stare into my cup, noticing the tinted bottom from all the years of coffee drinking this cup has endured; I stare at the red lipstick mark...why did I apply lipstick at three a.m? Who was going to see me? (mirror, rorrim, who's the fairest of them all?)
The alarm is now going off, whic means it's six thirty, which means I've been staring into my coffee mug for twenty-five minutes.
I know I need to quit. But I don't think I could, even if I tried.

-
Ok hi. I entered your Contest An orgy of words and I was wondering when you would be finished Judging the poems?? Well thanks For letting Me enter and I hope you pick good ones to win.
-
you disappeared
-
hey, um just wondering when we find out results to the comp? im new at this whole thing, and want to know how my poem fared lol
-
I know that a lot of comments on this site blow smoke at bad writing. I know I do it, and I know you all do it too, and it makes me sad because when I want to truly compliment someone I feel that it can get lost in all of those innafectual quasi-compliments. So when I say what I'm about to say, believe me that it isn't one of my "blowing smoke" comments.
When I read most of your pieces Karina I really feel like I'm reading poetry from some famous poet, I can't name just one because you take on many forms. You are able to observe lifes simplicities and put them on paper in a way that makes me feel like I've been where you were and witnessed what you describe. But until you described it to me, I never really saw it at all.
Now that you know how much I respect your writing, I'll try my best to give you some critiques that help you examine your writing, instead of just making you feel warm and fuzzy inside. SMILE!
Best,
Adjective

So, I have some new stuff up
You should check it out lovely
Because I hear you wanted to
<3

You're very welcome. I think the best books are children's books. Even as I become devoted to all of the new things I pick up, I'll always love the books I grew up with. There's just a certain devotion to them.
-
Karina, I love you so much.
-
-
I've never left a comment?
-
love ur name LOL
-
Thank you soooo much for taking an interest in what I write. I don't think I've ever recieved such interesting lyrical comments. Like your comments could be poems. You should write a poem out of your comments.
And man, I'm in love with Allen Ginsberg too! And I'm flattered that I remind you of yourself a little and... yeah. I'll be monitoring your continued poetic activity... if thats cool with you.
-
you are, indeed
everything they have said.
-
your writing is like a breath of fresh air .. an average little girl with pretty words ? .. i think not. Looking foward to so much wonderful poetry from you in the future.
-
Thanks for your compliment on my story Days of Yore. That was ages ago, but I wanted to thank you.
-
-
i was going through to see who had me on their favorites, because i'm nosey about that sort of thing, and saw you were on there. then, coming here and reading and seeing how fantastic your work is, it's truly an honor to be one of the poets you read on here. i'm sure you must get sick of my style at times. yours is like a shiny, 2005 penny while mine was etched back in 1960someoddyear, filthy and gross. oh well. we can't all sparkle, otherwise no one would sparkle at all.
-
I see James (jaunty pill) has discovered you also. Definately a keeper that one. And so are you.
-
great home page....not too cluttered, but you have a lot to say...thank you for commenting on my writes...means a lot!~jag~
-
Greetings earth creature and fellow MA person. Just stopping by to say "Hi" after reading your dishbones and adding to favorites just because
-
Don't worry about always having something to say to my poems. I often read my favorites and can't really think of anything to say , So it's alright. Sometimes a lack of words shows a beautiful thing.
Take care and comment when you can.
Love ya ,
james
-
Happy 2005!
I hope it is filled with moments that make everything come into focus better and I hope the poetry is always held on its side , Looking around for the nearest exit....
And be well...
Love ,

So finally I find you here...I'm going to check out your poems in a while. well, i guess, during break. They need in depth reading. .And I know I'm going to be mesmerized again.
Keep writing
