i honestly don't know how you can write so much. you are very talented but how do you keep doing it all the time? you must have so much going on upstairs. and you know what it is that goes on. i can tell you, i don't know what goes on in my upstairs or if it's much at all. I am happy that you can write so much tho. i think it is good for you to write it.

And don't worry about your lineage
poetic or natural. The Sun shines on
the jungle, you know, on the tundra
the sea, the ghetto. Wherever you were
I knew it and saw you moving. I was waiting
for you to get to work.

some people never go crazy.
me, sometimes I'll lie down behind the couch
for 3 or 4 days.
they'll find me there.
it's Cherub, they'll say, and
they pour wine down my throat
rub my chest
sprinkle me with oils.
then, I'll rise with a roar,
rant, rage -
curse them and the universe
as I send them scattering over the
lawn.
I'll feel much better,
sit down to toast and eggs,
hum a little tune,
suddenly become as lovable as a
pink
overfed whale.
some people never go crazy.
what truly horrible lives
they must lead.
- charles bukowski
They won't or if they do
it won't be because
of a promise
in a poem.
So much of poetry depends
on keeping legs crossed
at the right moment
but whether at my knee
or your neck
that is the question.

"A Cup of Tea
Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.
Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring.
The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. "It is overfull. No more will go in!"
"Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?""
Wow.
Amazing.
I'm so stealing this from you =]
I hope you're okay and everything is fabulous for you ♥
-
I love hearing your poems read!
lovely voice my dear.
-
hey...just dropping in to look at your page...i like your background
-
-
i would love to let you know which ones i think should be published... but it would only be my opinion, nothing more, and i tend to think everything you write is book-worthy.
i'll definitely give you my thoughts on it
-
-
Just dropping by to check the page out. The name kinda intrigued me. Have a good day, fellow poet.
-
hello friend!
how are you?
-
you have something. the way you write draws people to you, and what i mean by that is you're not just another poet here, you're different. your poetry's real. from the guts. and from the heart. i admire that - and i beg you to never let it go.
I also beg you to write a book, because I'm dying to have a copy of your writing on my shelves.
