    ey up. hope you're ok.
  • kyew on May 29
I actually have your muse here in my pocket... my bad - I saw it lying on the floor and picked it up, then forgot all about it!

you'll have to come back to get it but I'll keep it safe til you get here
  • Suzanne Dia on October 13, 2007
The wannabe artist formerly known as mystysaint wants to stop by, drip ink on the floor, and encourage your muse to return.

  • Bran on November 6, 2006
Hmm yeah it does suck when you lose it, I find that my muse has definitely flown out the window.
  • JustBe on July 23, 2006
It looks like you must have promoted it. My thanks.
    ~Morgan
  • JustBe on July 23, 2006
Ye gods! 561 poems, and the last one was written 19 months ago?! Now you read like half of my work, and write several comments. What an interesting story you must have to tell. Did you promote my poem? Someone must have, because 11 people read only that poem over a span of 36 minutes, and not a single one of them has an entry in the contest to which that poem is submitted.
If nothing else, thanks for reading. I'd love to return the favor ...except I'm not sure whether that helps you a year and a half after your poems were written. Don't know about the muse, but if you are interested in honest feedback, I'm known for that. Thanks hugely in any case.
    ~Morgan

Have you not spread your wings and flown free yet my pretty Lisa? I'm back now, so maybe we can swap poems in the summer sun? ;-) HH x
  • angel-and-the-snake on May 12, 2005
Hopefully the lack of action on this board now means you either found solace in a mountain of chunky Kitkats which then toppled on you and has stopped you from posting on here. Or on the other hand you may have found exciting new things to do... ahhh but anyway from some old person you used to talk too many yonks ago... hope your ok and look forward to seeing more work if it appears.

Lar... white ones are best and forget the limited edition ones!

I'm just plain tired of only being able to kiss ass. Any post that doesn't boost the ego of some shitty poet gets me another letter from the mods. I should be able to say freely that I don't like a poem and if the author argues with me I should be able to give him or her the finger ,,l, or even go so far as to say "HEY ASSHOLE . . . I'm not wrong, I really don't like your poem because its shit and no amount of bitching is going to change my mind." But obviously I can't do that. I seem to be wasting my time in an imitated utopia, nobody can say anything bad and every poet on this site must be great - just look at the comments about them. What was great when I joined this site a few years ago was that there were some brutally honest people here that would tell me like it was. Now that most of them have left or been booted because some whiny bitch couldn't take it that their poems weren't poems and weren't any good, the site lacks that edge to curb me from becoming another one of these shitty poets (I never sought that kind of freedom, I'm too mature for that). Anyway, that is my main reason for leaving and even with relaxed restrictions on swearing I say big whoop. Swearing is great and all but I'd like to say things besides "fuckin awesome" and "holy shit that's great". I want to be able to say and hear things like "Your metaphors are shitty and your syntax was mixed by a retard with his head up his ass" 'cause if it's the truth, it's the truth. Poets should thank harsh critics for not bullshitting them and once in awhile cuss back if they're out of line. The site mods should just laugh at most but rules are rules and they have to warn me about my unruly behavior. I'm getting redundant and I'm tired of always biching about the same thing.

    bye

  • Kastor on February 7, 2005
How are ya? You've been quite quiet lately, does that mean all is well? Hope so.
  • Kastor on January 7, 2005
You have a pretty new background but no new poems. Every time I visit allpoetry I check to see if you've posted anything new, yes I like your poems that much. I've printed out so many of them, and I read them quite a bit. You have a way of capturing my imagination and taking it into places I like. I have been working on a few things for you in my spare time, hopefully I will be done with them soon so I can send them to you.

p.s. You're amazing and awesome and talented and inspiring and great and interesting and my favorite poet breathing.

    Thank you for being you.

I look every time I come by to see if you have posted anything new. I've been reading a lot of your old posts and I'll make that book for you, it's just taking a bit longer than I thought.

I'm going on a field trip of sorts. One of those life lessons that has to be learned whether I want to or not. I don't know how long it will be, anywhere from a day to a few months, the timing just depends on how long it takes me to understand. I will be back around again to say hi as soon as I can.

To me you are the best. You've held my interest, with words alone, much more than anyone else. I wish you all the smiles your cheeks can bear.

  • Kastor on September 28, 2004
That is the best smile I've seen in a long time.

Creative, gifted and pretty, such a good combination.
  • Kastor on August 30, 2004
Hey you got the note much faster than I thought. I'll have to thank the post office.

A few days ago I was walking through town with something you wrote playing in my mind. "With or without you, time floats. Pause, reverse each lonely day, repeat repeat repeat." I know it wasn't all together like that, but the mood was mixed in with the stretch of train tracks I was staring down. There were wildflowers everywhere on the ground and storm clouds blanketing the sky. It was a strange sort of detatchment that crept over me. I tried to walk it off but the moment lingered in my mind and I couldn't tell exactly why or how it stuck. I stumbled upon a flower shop I've passed by for weeks and never noticed, when I knew what I wanted to do.
  • Rodsie on August 25, 2004
Hey. You are one of my favorite poets now. You are such a great writer. Exspecially "They Parted on a gentle Kiss". Its one of the best I have ever read. Peace
  • Kastor on August 22, 2004

(Leaves daisys and an anonymous letter that reads "you're pretty, I like your smile. Um hm I'm flirting.")

Hi...I wanted to thank you for honorable mention in your contest. There were a lot of excellent entries and I'm glad I wasnt the one who had to judge this.

  • Kastor on August 12, 2004
Guess what I did. I was looking to see where and when Muse would come around so I could see them play and I found a day. It was yesterday at DTE Energy Music Theater. They were playing in the Curiosa festival and so I went and they were great. There were a few other bands playing, obviously Cure was there, and a lot of people. I had a lot of fun even though I went by myself, most of my friends listen to rap music. So yeah, if you get a chance to see that show it's worth the ticket price.
  • Kastor on July 28, 2004
You know, I went out and got that cd. The picture on the cover is interesting, I'm not sure what it's saying. I've listened to all the songs a few dozen times and I'm hooked. Falling away with you is one of my new favorite songs and butterflies and hurricanes is good too. Thanks for introducing me to good music. I'm going to send you something in the next couple weeks, nothing spectacular or important but something to watch for. It takes awhile for mail to move, so maybe it'll get there in August.
  • gooeygood on July 28, 2004
i cant believe you remembered! but then, i shouldnt be suprised really.

nice to see you still have all the guys drooling. i bet they dont know how beautiful you are on the inside though. and i can count myself lucky in that regard!

    thanks for thinking about me.
  • Ze-nophobic on July 25, 2004
Nice pic! I can see myself looking at you like that. Sorry, but that's how my brain works! LOL! Hope you're doing alright these days.
  • Kastor on July 24, 2004
I've never heard muse before but I will go find the cd.

You do deserve every word I can gather for your praise. You've been spending time on your craft and written many poems that got into my head and played in my heart. It's the fragments of joy in my life that I gather together to make my smile, and I am so happy that you're alive. You make my life better just by being you. Thank you thank you thank you.

    Hello Lisa,

Just dropped by to say hello. Although i am not what you would call a prolific writer, or a frequent visitor to these boards, i'd just like to say that the message you left on my ap front page a year or so ago is a constant source of (pride) and inspiration for me.

    Thanks!
  • Carlos Fandango on July 18, 2004

  • Kastor on July 13, 2004
Very photogenic lately huh? Did you get a new camera? These last few pictures have had better quality than ones you posted before. This is nice, I think of you about to take a nap. I'd get you something to drink, maybe coco or a beer for when you wake up but . . . yeah.
  • Kastor on July 7, 2004
Wow. Aren't you looking cute and happy. I'm glad to see you smiling. I was just about to read your latest works but I got a call and I have to go. I'm working two jobs now, and so if I don't make it to the library tomorrow I don't know when I will have another afternoon off. I'll try so hard to be here though, you know I always love your work.
