  No, I don't think you've ever acted like that, and I don't mind you voicing your opinions on your faith, I have no problems whatsoever with that. I just get irritated when people let religion blind them to any other aspect of life that doesn't agree with theirs. Something I never could understand.

  Your comments above are just perfect. I'm glad you came back to writing. The world needs people who have been to the edge and back. I know what you mean by "while my commentary may seem meaningless to some, at least it allows me to get it out of my system." I am filled with happiness when I'm writing and sharing it with others, and the words seem large and important, but when the writing and editing is done, the words seem small and insignificant again. I guess permanent fulfillment is impossible in this world, and not just in regard to writing. I think I may need to fix the crack in the cup rather than trying to refill it again and again. Everything is very significant and ultimately insignificant, but we need to write like we need food and water. Maybe it's no more or less significant than that.

  Dear TG,
  I am a composer based in NYC and just came across your poem on www.poetsagainstthewar.org website. Right now I am looking for political lyrics to set to submit to a series of concerts being put on this fall by some people I know here. I would like to try to set your lyrics for Savior Policy and see if I can come up with something good and was wondering if that would be okay with you. I wouldn’t be making any money off of it or anything like that.
  
  Anyway, let me know if you would like me to try. Also, if you have any other lyrical poems that you think I should look at for this, feel free to send them to me too! This particular poem may end up being too long for me.
