The time has come and the hour is at hand. A choice that many will make one so great that many will be troubled and confused on the outcome. One choice was all I had, and it was a great challenge in its self this challenge. One year ago today a deep wound was inflicted on America. One that still bleeds today, as all hearts suffered greatly. Sad that such an event as this had to take place to bring some together. I have made my choice, one that took about a month to decide on. One person who won such a long and great challenge on here. One winner and one runner up. It was a task that was greatly difficult in all forms. I have chosen the winner of the One Year After Sept 11th challenge and that person is... 'GhostWriter' with his, 'Was Your Flag Flying High On September Ten?' This poem is one of the greatest works I have ever seen and I felt it had to win, read it for yourself and you will understand why! Runner up was 'thegoldenpen' with their, 'Phoenix Rising' poem that was very good also. These words of great compassion and great emotion took the stage. I strongly admire and wished I could have wrote one of like these two. In my eyes everyone is a winner on this challenge, for all those who tried and write in the guidelines of this, are all winners. This was a very emotional task, but I am glad I did it. God Bless and peace be with you all...

You have posted a true masterpiece one of which will be remebered for times to come. The greatest of all emotions of that day. The greatest tribute any kind soul could create. Its a honor that you joined beyond anything I can imagine!!!!!!

Your poetry is beautiful... I love the emotion you spill out and how well you express it. Sometimes I wish I could write that well...I have been writting since I was about 7 and i'm only 17...maybe I'll get better with a little more time...Thanx you so much for sharing...They are lovely! ~Jenn

    Hi :)

I just wanted to extend an invitation to come be a part of the Allpoetry Survivor Challenge.
Its a great way to get your work read, as well as challenge yourself and push yourself to become
a stronger poet in the process. You will also get your work seen more, and meet a lot of new
people that you might not normally meet.

I would like to say its not really a contest, its more like a lot of people having fun
writing poetry, sometimes in styles they dont normally write, and discovering what they are
capable of. I am personally inviting you because I have read your work, and think you are
one who will do well through out the game.

If you are interested, please go to this link
    http://www.allpoetry.com/get.cgi?id=71215&l=m

IM me or email me at feelingloopy@hotmail.com with your answer, either way.
I do hope you join us, and come have some fun writing and role playing and having a good time
:) If you have questions, please let me know.

    Write ON
    Jen

Ok. Sorry I took so long. I was waiting for more people, but apparently, didn't get them. Oh well. It was an extremely difficult decision, but i have made it. Congrats to the winner, wiccatarot for 'Mind Games', and runner-up JGordan for 'Pigeon Trilogy'. They were all very well written, but these two just took my breath away both in meaning and tranfer. Remember, you are all winners, and all excellent poets. I look forward to seeing your submissions in my next challenge.

I have made a decision on my 'Bad Hair Day challenge.' The runner-up was 'I have Dandelillions for my Hair,' by thegoldenpen & the winner was 'spiffie Bad Hair,' by Barbii. All the entries were awesome & I had fun reading them all. You are all winners!
