  Hey there :) thanks for all your reads, and comments. In answer to your question, my best poems have been written from a responsive reaction to some situation, mood or inpsired read. The topics or, subjects you find scattered in my poems are not necessarily 'selected', they sort of find me. Catch phrases drop out of conversations or songs I'm listening too and BOOM, the light goes on ....that of course is what I wish I could push, flip on and off at will, but cannot :) so I jot down something quickly and then let that mood sink in and try to understand what Im feeling or what 'they' were feeling and capture it, paint it with words.   Excuse me? I must alert you that women and men in Afganistan DO NOT chose to live that way! Where have you been? Their government forces them to! One woman showed her elbow on the street and WAS STONED TO DEATH. Some choice. These woman used to be doctors, they used to go to school, and they used to have lives. Until the Taliban moved in about 8 or 9 years ago, I think it was. Barbra Walters did an interview with some of these woman about 2 years ago. None of them like it, let's put it that way. They cannot go on the street without a husband, brother, or father. Please note this is nothing against you, but these are facts you seem to be missing. ^^
  P.S. - I certianly hope when I get married my husband will countiue to leave his shirt off at the beach.

  Don't think I'm strong, if I were strong then I never would have tried to end my life.. I coped the only way I knew how.... I had no one but me to rely on.. now I have Simon, as you can tell by my new pieces!! He is my reason for living. He's there for me 24/7, he expects nothing from me, and he loves me despite my scars.. (comes from 45 stitches in my face)... you are just as courageous as I.... you are raising a child on your own, that takes more stength and guts, than I'll ever have...
  You are a true treasure... don't ever forget that

  my poemz 'the otherside' 'death' and 'i am alive'
  i wrote since i have been out of the hospital. my accident happened on sept1st and 9:00 pm...it wuz a rainy night i wuz on an interstate road with my boyfriend and a friend...we were going 75 miles an hour...we hydroplaned and crashed into trees which hit on the passenger side...my side...i woke up 3 dayz later in the hospital, and could barely move. i had broken my neck and had been wuz bleeding eternally. had an emergency surgery done so i have a foot long scar going down my belly. they did not know what wuz bleeding....
  they had to remove my spleen becuz it ruptured..and had to do a laceration of the liver cuz my liver had a minor cut on it...
  if my liver ruptured i would surely not be here cuz u cannot live without a liver.... i wuz in the hospital for 8 dayz....i wore a halo for 2 months..if you dont know what it iz...i will explain..it a vest type deal that has bar coming up to my head which had a bar of metak circling my head the had 4 pins that rested on my skull, that wuz drilled into my skin...2 on my forhead and two behind my ears...ouch-ouch-ouch
  but i know i am very lucky to be here and life i would say iz very very very very weird...with the halo on i wuz not able to take a shower for 2 months...just little sponge baths that didnt do shit...cuz i could not get the halo or vest wet...really suked...once i got it off i got into the shower and literally started laughing in amazement that i wuz actually taking a shower...oh my god. a shower has never felt so good b4 in my life. you dont even understand....
  oh and i saw the pictures of the car the last day i wuz in the hospital..and my sezt wuz like only 7-9 inches wide--no joke...and it wuz a Saturn, and passenger seatz are much wider than that...i wuz surprised my legs were not broke...4-real...
  but it wuz some scary shit.....i just told you like the whole story--damn!!!

  hey, Ok really im not a bad person.. when i was writing the my thing in the dicussion my was somewhere else.. and i forgot a big chunk of what i actually was talking about.. it was about using those kinda of words for emotions in the 'fun' section to get points! please check back to that discussion i changed it!
