Today you stand before me a woman grown 16 years since and I've loved you every second of each and every day, you will always be so very special to me. You'be grown so much in this short time and yes I know you've shed more than your fair share of tears, it's made you into a woman so fine, a daughter I am so proud to say is mine! ps For anyone else reading this Anna was born with the most gorgeous dark auburn hair which of course fell out when she was a few months old, her new hair was and still is blonde!

swanpool on September 21, 2005Sorry I have taken a couple of days to get back to you, it's been one of those weeks! next time carl is round I will show him the last couple of pieces that you have written, he has done some more to the website, but I haven't had a chance to see what yet, (all I know is he is round here on my computer most evenings, when he isn't at rehersal!) I promise you that he is serious! and i've got the head ache to prove it as he's set his spare amp up in my sons room! So I'll let you know what he thinks of what you've done so far, probably at the weekend, ok. Margaret.

swanpool on September 14, 2005Hi Anna, yes your stuff would be good enough, if you want to check out the bands web site it is www.freewebs.com/deadunderinfluence they have been told that if they can get enough material together then they have got a slot on a tour, so they need about a dozen or more songs. So I have asked you and deep dark desire to write some, as you both have the sort of style that I know Carl is looking for. I know you can do this, he read a couple of your poems while he was here earlier and he was impressed. So get writing!

They are Liskeard based, and I have known one of the members for years ( he's one of my sons mates, and is very talented.) but they have been offered some work, and need to get enough material together for a set. They asked me but my poetry is just too fluffy, what they want is some dark powerful rock type lyrics, with maybe a touch of humour, if your interested let me know. No pressure. Ok. swanpool.
