Why is it that so many poets like the rain and like thunderstorms? I have always been so fascinated by both.
Maybe it's because we can see the good in common things that others don't seem to notice. I like your "shooting stars" on your page - something else us poets seem to be fascinated by, along with the moon, the seasons, the sea, and a trillion other things!

    Best wishes,
    Hoosier writer & poet,

oh wow. that's horrible. i was wondering how your story could be worse than moving halfway across the country...but that whole restraining order thing really tops it. *sigh* i know how hard it is to have a dear friend under a restraining order... i think you did the right thing. restraining orders are miserable... but that's a whole nother story...

thank you for commenting on my story.yes it was very hard to get over, and it is still hard to this day.i see her all the time, but i know that i can't talk to her.she really doesn't even want to look at me anymore..but it was either,breakup/or my mom would take out a restraining order against her on her birthday.i saved her from any trouble, and i wish that i could say those things to her.but,i just can't.

just wanted to say thanks for the response to my poem. its kinda funny cause the whole time i was writing it, i wasnt really paying attention to what i was typing cause i was thinking about her. (i was email some other person and that came out. apparently the thoughts that were in my head wound up on the screen. lol.) anyway, thanks for your input. it means a lot.

Hey, thanks I think I'll add you to my favorites too. This is fun. and yes things have turned out for the better(much better). Your lucky that your going to be a junior! My junior year was a blast I made so many freinds in all of the grades that I can't even believe it. It's sort of wierd though because I even bacame really good friends with an x-b-freind's little sis(wierd) but she's cool so it's all good.bye.

BANDIES RULE! I'm a senior clarinet player in marching band. I'm in symphonic and concert band. I'm the jazz band roady, and I'll do pretty much anything that has to do with music. See...I'm a total bandie(or band freak).

I love your page and I'm getting ready to read some of your stuff. I look forward to it. Thank you for commenting on my work

Hey you! Welcome to the wonderful world of Allpoetry! I'm suprised that you haven't already been bombarded by welcomers from this site so I shall do it for you! Hehe! This place is really a lot of fun! I obviously enjoy it and I'm sure you will too. If you have any questions or anything, which I doubt you will, just ask me and I will be sure to help you out! So, I will leave this message where it is as it seems to be getting a little on the lengthy side. hehe! Talk to you later.
    ~~Amanda
