  • Loveandblessings2u : JUST WANTED TO SAY HI, SO HI ~~~ on October 9, 2007
    Hi Bob:
Just stopping by your page, because I haven't been by in a while. I see that you have a new page, it is very beautiful. I fell in love with your paintings. My favorite is the one over looking the water as the sun sets. It reminded me of watching the Heavens open.
It truely is amazing. I heard of your life story before, from Rick. But as I read your remarkable page today, it left me think that you are even more amazing then what I heard of from your brother. By the why I am sure you already know this, but Rick thinks you are the next best thing to God. I can clearly see why he thinks that way. You are an outstanding poet and artist. Keep up the magnificent work. Take care and God bless you always. Joyce

    Hi Bob,
A little piece of wisdom, sent to me by another AP poet. I can't honestly say I know who the author, Grantley Morris, is, but he makes a wonderful point in my opinion. Enjoy!

    How Good You Are!
Whether you see yourself as gifted or queer, indispensable or inadequate, depends entirely on the frame of reference you choose. From God’s frame of reference – the life’s work he has chosen for you – no one is as perfectly endowed as you.
If that seems like soppy idealism, you have not thought it through. Do so, and it will become a treasured source of strength and inspiration. You could choose any person and fill volumes with what he or she cannot do or is hopeless at, but that’s of no more concern than the fact that a video recorder cannot fly, quench thirst, tie shoelaces, and prevent tooth decay. Besides the endless list of things a video recorder cannot do, many of the things it can do, it does poorly. It’s an inferior paperweight, straightedge, and bookend. You could use it as a fly-swatter – once. Such lists miss the critical point: anything skillfully designed is ideally equipped – and usually solely equipped – for the specific and commendable purpose for which it was made.
Of course you cannot do everything. That was never your Designer’s intention. But to imagine that your Creator will not fashion you with perfection for your reason for existence, is to accuse your Maker of impotence and incompetence. Face facts: everything God does is impressive. For the exact role that he created you, you are superbly endowed. All you need do is yield to him.
    By: Grantley Morris.

I came here via your brother, via a random click. I got part way down his page and saw the link and wa la! I haven't read you yet but will as soon as I finish this message. I have to admit, I'm so glad I made the detour. I love your artwork! And just from the few lines I see under your poetry I'm sure, no I'm postive, I won't be disappointed. The first painting on your page gives me the feeling of Bastien-LePage. Its the movement, up close or distant one still feels drawn into it. The second, feels overwhelmingly influenced by DeVinci...I somehow feel the need to put a hand under the chin. The eyes have such emotion in them! The third feels like Monet blurred. Soft and tranquil. Well I just had to share my thoughts on your artwork. I'm off to share my thoughts on your thoughts.

    Nicole,
I call the painting Lily Pads With Willow, done in the style of Claud Monet, the French Impressionist around 1890. It is oil on canvas, 30" by 36" and hangs in my bathroom. I yike it too. Bob
  • Nicole Cudworth on October 13, 2006

i see you have changed your picture... though i have to add it is sad that you chose to put one in that you are wearing sunglasses... eyes are how we see others, windows to their self being... personally sometimes it seems ones has something to hide when they speak with their sunglasses on... other than that your smile says much
