Snowing Kisses on March 21hello there, im so glad to meet a spike milligan fan, my kids were reared on him, they also like edward lear, their favourite is quangle wangle tree, they know it by heart, i don't though. So pleased to meet you

-
Judith Chandler : Good for you. on March 8I like what you say about not letting disability get you down. I wonder if it is harder or easier to have someone else there. My cats never seem to be affected, one way or another, by the disability I live with.
Take care. I like your page. -
montez : Dear Ducky, on February 28In your profile, you moan about the once innocent world changing.
You may be right, but I don't think that PEOPLE have changed very much in the last 10,000 years or so.
Read Plato, like wot I did recently (ferk me it was a struggle!)
Ordinary people have generally treated each other with compassion, respect and affection for a very long time (except, of course, freeversers, who should all still be stoned, like wot they used to do to 'em!).

foolproof on February 4your profile alone sounds deep

g r e y i s m on December 2, 2008"Sadly I have been unpublished these thirty years or more but it doesn't stop me from writing."
Good. Because being published doesn't make the work good. I've had two poems published and one of them got a C- in a poetry class!

Plenty of good poets remain unpublished. It is overrated.

Rheea on November 21, 2008Came to read and wonder.
-
toomysterious : Just a Quick Hello on October 26, 2008Hope all is well with you. Come and read my poems sometime on my page. Not a lot of new stuff lately, but that too will change. Miss the reading list and comments in the Library, but not the chaos.
-
And Hyetal on June 17, 2008You're not published? You should be.
If you're not published, then I have no chance of being published myself.
-
piccola on June 6, 2008odd ... you look published
you even look like a poet
-
piccola on June 5, 2008I worked as a clerk for a judge in my early 20's and he had that same saying on the wall in chambers."Per Ardua ad Astra, Carborundum" Don't let the bastards grind you down! . As I recall, that's the first time I saw it. He was called out of retirement to judge our overflow of cases. His wife was confined and every day, he would take her roses. Sometimes he came across as grumpy but mostly he was just weighed down with the cares of life...
I know you don't like me, but we have a decent group "The Library" and you might like it. All we ask is that people participate. There are many there other than myself.
-
kareneisenlord : Stopping by to say "hi"! on May 17, 2008Hope all is well and I enjoyed visiting your page and reading your poetry. You always bring a smile to my face that feels rather "stoney" these days!
-

grannyeri on May 4, 2008A big welcome to The Poetic Bandits. So pleased you find that this group is a good one to seek membership in. Know you have been at the receiving end of one of the Hood Winks and how good it makes one feel.

FransB on March 3, 2008I have at last found time to read your page. I shall find time to read your poetry. You have offered generous comments on my poems in the past - always honest and straight forward, and often with a 'check up' reply, which makes this more special. This is how I approach my students, but of course never with the *bunny* added [whatever it means]! I see you mention a dissability - we have something in common. I loved you bio and from now on, your comments will have more meaning [personalised]. Frans
Ps
I am adding you as favourite. -
Bluebook Pet : Thank you on January 7, 2008Quantum commented my word not just by praising it but also giving a critical analysis on which on my side was very helpful.
Thanks for your last comment, it teaches me to observe not just hard but the hardest you can.

-
g r e y i s m on November 30, 2007you are very lucky to live in England! my husband and I would like to move there when we are more established.

Shoshan on September 16, 2007

I'm not a famous or great poet yet. But I will be. Someday, I suppose. ^_^ -
CookieZeal on August 19, 2007I like your bio. It made me chuckle as I noticed how we have something in common regarding what works we've endeavored that isn't 'out there' yet. I guess that means I rock TOO?????
.
Maybe we should start a group called
"A place for soul rockers who aren't commercially on top of the world yet"???? Well. I like it the way you said it best.
Hehehe........Glad I stopped by. Warmly, CookieZeal

Aurora Ceres on July 18, 2007Hello Donald,
Your comments are so delightful and thus far, have not failed to put a smile upon my face. I just wanted to pop by and tell you how much I appreciate you for that as well as for your thoughtfulness and charm. I've read one piece and my goal is to read and comment on them all by weeks end.
Off to bed go I, enjoy your day and I will be back.
Bella
