nice to meet you Sara...writing dark poetry is cathartic, a release and a great way to deal with pain..i wrote it for years and years and i think it was the only way i coped with abuse in my teens. i hope you did not misunderstand me, for i would never tell anyone else what to write...you are obviously a talented poet and an intelligent young woman. i do know a few things about fathers who disappear and mothers who do not have the time to know what is going on in childrens lives. i am 50 now, and i can say, at 16, i knew there had to be better for me. having the parents i had made me the most wonderful kind of parent myself, for i knew exaclty how NOT to treat my sons. one is 30 now and one is 20. both think i am "cool" and so whatever happend in my own youth, i am thankful for...it has made me the person i am now. you fly high Sara, your gift to write will keep you from floating away in anger. know what you want in life and get it, and always remember how wonderful you are and that you are worth only the best.
i just felt like i need to say this to you today, if i could go back in time to when i was 16, i would have loved for someone to tell me i was important as a human soul. and even though you have no idea who i am, know that you made a difference in my day. love to you in life and all, your poet friend, rebeka

Hello, Memories, thanks for the comment again on my 'friends' piece... so if I visit you on myspace I shall call you 'poet'...! I see you have a dark, hurt, angsty side... it's easy to see where the dark and hurt come from (girls 'feel' 100x more than guys, which is a source of much heartache and pain!), and also the angst (youthful energy...) Keep writing, it's good for your social skills, among other things!

I love to reciprocate readings; thus, I have stopped by to read something by you and noticed you are new to All Poetry. WELCOME ABOARD! I'm not sure what I shall read, because I tend to stay away from dark, angst, erotica and the like. But, I think I noticed something here.

    Love and hugs

wow, so many incredible thoughts at such a young age, not that age means anything but still, you have a great mind and don't ever let that go to waste, you have talent more than you really know, and don't let anything hold you back from what you really want.
hope to talk to you sometime
    your friend

I just thought that I'd drop you a little note and let you know that I really like your poetry. You are very deep and emotional. My name is Dottie and I've been a member of AP for about uh....2 years??? I love it. I welcome you and Thank you so much for being such a great poet. I seem to be able to relate to your poetry. Keep up the good work and hope to see you around!
