Almighty Aphrodite on August 23, 2005I just took the time to read the poem that is posted on your author's page. I never realized how deep your suffering runs until now...and you know what? You have inspired me, to learn myself better and to always cling on to the One who created me. I may only be able to relate in a few ways--I've never been on or even near drugs, thank God!--but I have had part of my life lived through yours.

I will not tell you what it is about, only that it's something you'll be able to relate to. If you were to look over everything I've written, you'll see some common threads: searching for love, attempts at suicide, feeling like my life doesn't matter...and then learning how to love myself from scratch. My entire life is basically documented as poetry.

Some people are way to critical of themselves and judge themselves too harshly - we are not our mistakes and how the heck would we learn anything if we didnt make a few.
You've been through a lot in your life..i respect that you believe in God but more importantly you believe in yourself. I admire your strength and courage

Each day of those two years was sheer hell for me. I knew the Saviour from my childhood, but turned away from Him because of being raped, and molested by a first cousin (for five consecutive years). So-Alone on August 9, 2005wow im so sorry if it makes u feel better ur a great poet! umm yeah about ur sister i know how she felt when she tried to comment suicide i did to about a lot of times and what u said to the shrink sound true thats how i felt my mom and dad and step-dad want to take me to one but i dont wanna go so i stay in my room quietly and not talk to them as much because thier ask whats wrong and i have to tell them......
