I love the that poem you have up there by Alice Walker, thanks for sharing it...and thanks for reading=)

-
Kate - thank you for reading my poem & for the message you sent me, and the quote you sent is why I write, not for applause, yes. Thank you so much for that & your thoughts
it actually happened when I was in college, I think that is why there is a sense of time passing in the poem after his suicide.
I hope all is well with you & your little one

WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU AMAZING
-
the book's incredible. i leant it to my mom and this was the only part i could find on the internet, i'll share more when i get it back! lol. really... someone told me recently that i wasn't a very good poet at all and i was pretty much a huge snob for preferring poetry to prose. *shrugs* in some situations it's impossible to defend yourself and no matter how little you think of that person's opinion, it still sticks. this passage just felt.. right. im glad you enjoyed it too.
-
oooh that story makes me feel uneasy.
in a good way, of course thankyou for sharing
-
ahh, i see you changed your page. i changed mine too about a week ago. must be something in the air, lol.
-
Thank you soo much for the comment!! Its much appreciated, and I love to hear that its something positive in your life. Thanks again!!

really long time / no speak
-
I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way
Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall
What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat
Happy Holidays Gregg
