There are some graphic problems on the site right now, but nothing that Kevin can't easily fix once he is back home. He took the weekend off with several of the other moderators, and has been out of pocket to get this fixed. Please be assured that it will be corrected as soon as Kevin gets home.. sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi! I know it's been a long time! I've finally started posting again. Trying to write a little more. I had my sweet 16 party (if you know what that actually is supposed to mean, you should tell me, I haven't a clue) Break has been good, but I've mostly been a bum! And you've been busy too by the looks of it! Well, drop me a line whenever you have time. Byebye

NOW I remember where I've seen you before! My contest a while back. Anyway, I'm smileywinks's daughter, and I read your contest poem so now Id' thought I'd take a look at your poems when I get the chance. Already read "The Whale's Lament" You entered it in one of me contests once, I think. Anyway, I'll leave ya alone now........... Bed time anyways.

    Happy Christmas,

I read some of your Nature, Religious, and Dream poem categories, and I read all 3 of your prose essays. In your poetry I feel you are somewhat inhibited by your rhyme schemes. Like many of the poems I have read on AllPoetry, I would suggest creating emotion through images and descriptive words instead of simply "labeling" the emotion and then rhyming it. Your way with words is apparent in your written prose, which is hilarious, meaningful, and intelligent. Your talent for honest interpretation is apparent once you are freed from rhyme schemes. Keep in mind that I am also a rhyming poet and writing for me creates the same issues. I thank you for finding and commenting upon "Her Long Green Coat". I wrote it at age 15 (I'm 30 now) and I have always liked it. I hope to communicate with you again and I feel you are a talented writer. I adore Wisconsin.

Yeah. That's not bad for my first I week I don't suppose. The jury is still out on another. Still nowehere close to 16 golds. You have more hardware than Karl Lewis. Happy Birthday again.

You're very welcome for the trophy, I was happy to add to your collection. You're an amazing writer and I love your poetry. Plus, when I im'ed you, you opened up my eyes. You showed me that parents have their reasons for being so hard on kids...I only hope that you realize "kids just want to be kids." JUDGING BY APPEARANCE IS BAD!! lol, anyways....great job with my contest!!

    Much Love,

You definitely have a way with words. Your poems aren't as short as most people write them and yet they aren't too long. You stay on track and your writing is never boring. The topics you choose are sweet or sad, never easy. That's very cool. So, you're from WI huh? That's neat. I have lots of family and friends there. Anyways, I'm off to read some more poems. Take care! ~Rainna~
