Timeless Friendship

Life is a journey
so many things
get thrown our way

hope comes in small doses
sometimes that’s all
one can take

I was living in darkness
truth be told
hiding from all the world
you see, no longer happy
I wanted to be set free

out of the shadows I did step
and I was blessed the day
that you became my friend

guidance, advice came hand in hand
from a kind, gentle & caring man
sense of humor that I can’t deny
had me in stitches a lot of the time

tears were shed for many days
advice was given in many ways
acceptance of myself slowly came

so many things I want to say
unable to find just the right words

I thank you
from the depths
of this loving heart
for not giving up on me
from the very start.

I'm leaving here early.. Next week will be my last week on the net, until after school. the journey that I started here 2 yrs ago has come to an end. My new journey has already begun, and being that I'm addicted to this site and to the comp. it's time for me to let go and Let God... time for me to move on. One by one, my chains will be removed Thank you for being my friend, for not giving up on me even when I gave up on me.
