    I got the tickets. I'll be coming on May 12th and nesting for about two weeks, until the 29th. I'd come earlier but exams are that second week next month and Wednesday is the last of mine.     Can you tell I am not feeling well? I hate spring colds and this unpredictable spring weather. Daylight Savings time causes me to stay up much later than usual in the beginning, but I've been a motley mess of sick and unhappy. I don't even know why I feel so discontent lately.

    I really haven't done too much on here but grade assignments from my classes and give a few comments here and there.

    How are you? Is your phone still on? If so, I'll try to call sometime this week. I want to go back to Philly. (I had to put my mother in the hospital again--and I'm worried about how I'll save her stuff, I can't seem to find anyone with a truck and oh, God, if only she'd paid the rent!) My total weight loss is now up to 48 lbs. (I weigh 240 now--and all my clothes are falling off me, literally!) I probably should be talking to someone. It's dratted hard to find a support system down here.

    Dear Mom,

    I'm sorry I haven't called. My mother did away with long distance a few weeks ago after her spur-of-the-moment decision to get me DSL. Unfortunately, I can't use it yet, still--as I found out my computer is busted and I will have to just balk up the money from somewhere to get a new one. I wonder if I'll be able to get my files out of the old CPU somehow. I don't know, though, since I'm not a techie--just an internet junkie.

    lol, would you really have appreciated me coming on here yelling, "hey, bitch! I'm still alive, in case you didn't notice!"? You would've given me three more days in my room for that one!

    Where are my little brother and sister now? What did they do to get kicked out? (Do I need to do something about those two?)

    I have been so busy with job hunting and school that I haven't really been on here that much. My students from the vocabulary class yell at me if I don't have their works graded within three days. I guess you just can't win for losing!

    And I've been having some "issues"...but I'll tell you about that later, when I finally do get to call!

    But I won't ask you to wait by the phone...
