Hey there. I Haven't been on AP in a while. Hopefully, if you stay active on here and I do - I've been on timeout for all of grad school - we'll stay in touch artistically via that. If you ever decide to drop out of AP, I hope you drop me a line with an email address or a link to your new publishing place.

Ah SUNY Purchase. Cool. Things going well? You hanging out in NYC lots?

Brothers is fine reading as you well know... Have you read Ulysses?
  • milkdrop on November 14, 2006
haha your comment made me realize that i wanted to re-read it also, so i went to my campus library (SUNY Purchase) to get it and they didn't have it which made me mad and i ended up with the brothers karamazov and an umbrella from piccadilly but oh well

    anyway how you doing?
  • cvillelisa on November 14, 2006

I recently re-read the Unbearable Lightness of Being....

Just swinging by to say hello.
  • milkdrop on October 18, 2006
it's got to be real. it freaks me out when animals sound like people. my friend has a schnauzer that loves milk, and when you take a glass of milk out and hold it in front of him, he says "I want milk" in this terrifying dog voice, I'm not even kidding, man, it blows my mind.
  • cvillelisa on October 18, 2006

    OMG

Do you think that Black Cat talking about Long Long john is REAL? I nearly peed my pants.

And many of the videos of cats doing crazy things .. AHHHHH!!!

I think you are crazy. I love it.

    Send more.

  • cvillelisa on October 4, 2006

Thank you for the losingest kitten link. I voted for the losingest of all. Not sure why.
  • milkdrop on September 8, 2006

  • cvillelisa on September 8, 2006

oh. i feel bad for them already and haven't even looked yet.

    www.mrwinkle.com/book2.htm
  • milkdrop on September 8, 2006
yeah i've probably spent hours doing that not even kidding (kinda wish i was) but eventually your jaw hurts from going "aaawwww" too much, but then you can look at the most losingest kittens and your image of kittens might be temporarily ruined
  • cvillelisa on September 8, 2006

yes they are very cute -- but i do not believe they top kittens. i was just looking at the most winningest kittens and nearly had to bite my desk they are so cute.
  • milkdrop on September 8, 2006
baby bunnies can be equally cute.. but not the scary fucking hairless ones.. gross.
but if you need mindless activities to partake in while you're supposed to be working, i'm your main man, man.
  • cvillelisa on September 8, 2006
    OMG

i was just there. great. another mindless activity to partake in while i'm supposed to be working.

i'm currently kitten obsessed as well. i'm not sure there is anything more dreadfully adorable.

I think Joan was still with The Runaways when that song came out. I got it from a free CD called "The Roots of the Sex Pistols." It has almost all the same songs as "CBGB's and the Birth of U.S. Punk." Wow, I'm way to obsessive with music.
  • milkdrop on April 7, 2005
Actually I have that song on a compilation album called "CBGB's and the Birth of U.S. Punk" ..which is a really good CD.. but I hadn't heard the song before that (is it a Joan Jett cover?) and I really like the lyrics.
  • on April 7, 2005
Modern Lovers! I have that song on CD! Did you get it from a music magazine?
  • windhover3 on April 3, 2005
Love the Amelia Earhardt lyric, thanks for sharing. I just got The Famous "Light, Sweet Crude". Good country music seems to have moved west.
