Night Hope : For my Sister, my Friend... on July 16
"If you are a poet, you will see clearly that there
is a cloud floating in this sheet of paper.
Without a cloud there will be no water; without water,
the trees cannot grow; and without trees, you cannot make paper.
So the cloud is in here. The existence of this page
is dependent upon the existence of a cloud. Paper
and cloud are so close."
~ Thich Nhat Hahn, in "Engaged Buddhism"
There is, most certainly, poetry glistening upon this lovely woman's page...more importantly, within her life. You are very dear to us all, Marion. Your presence among us enriches us all. You are beloved.

Dear Sister Marion,
A friend of yours suggested that you would benefit from one of our Hoodwink visits, we are the Poetic Bandits. We know of your kindness and have enjoyed your thoughtful, well crafted poetry for some time and we want to let you know that you are appreciated. Thank you for helping make AP a wonderful Poetic community.
Your humble brother Dennis

Don't worry, I will never speak French to you! Your delicate and elegant language has suffered too many indignities from my absurd mispronunciation. Glad to meet you!
-
Dear Marion, I hope that your are advancing on your path and all is well with you. Many blessings for your way!

ea : Sparrow poem for Marion as I envision her - happy birthday on June 14, 2008
Home from pulling Aphrodite's chariot you land
upon my slated window ledge where I extend my hand.
You peck at my first finger, peck the crumbs upon my saucer
and for your nest, the basket of my hair brushings I proffer.
In walking should I come upon said nest upon the ground
delighted I, my hair to spy within its rootlets wound,
shall but return when frost has browned the grasses like your flock
raised up and fledged from whitish shells marked thickly with lilac.
Love, ea

Liebe Marion,
May your days always be filled with peace, and may your loving and caring heart bring hope and joy to many more people!
Lots of love from Annie!!!

Night Hope : You Are Such A Beautiful Soul... on February 2, 2008
I got the most wonderful thing in the mail, Marion. It occupies a special place upon my bookshelf & within my heart now. I knew you would understand Emily's song. Wanda
(#850)
"I sing to use the waiting,
My bonnet but to tie,
And shut the door unto my house;
No more to do have I,
Till, his best step approaching,
We journey to the day,
And tell each other how we sang
To keep the dark away."
~ Emily Dickinson (1830–86) ~ from "Complete Poems", 1924.
