Save all those little paper-napkins you've written on and one day, perhaps in an internet caffe or at a house party where everyone else got so smashed they all passed out and you can use the computer... grace us again with your seraphic scrawls

Ms. Trick on August 14, 2004Hiya,
Thanks for leaving me a note. That made me all giddy and happy because I just lack a life that much.
Anyway, don't let the trophies fool you. I haven't won one in a while.
I've only got two months left to be 15. Birthday's in September. Not a fan of birthdays so I'll have to plan how to hide come this one. Something tells me that being 16 isn't going to be all cake and puppies. Hehe.
Thanks again for the comment. And for entering my contest.

Lune Feu on August 11, 2004Thank Duana- she is the brains behind it all, I just got recruited as she and I know each other, and she asked a favor of me.
As for my page, thank you very much, I was rather drawn to that eye when I saw it myself- it was like it was calling to me? I think you know what I mean. And loiter on my doorstep as much as you like, I garuntee it is much safer than knocking on fates door.
LOL- Just teasin' ya, no offense meant. Yes- it is always nice to find kindred souls, and if you ever want to come to me for anything, feel free to do so. My door is always wide open. -
Jcsketch82 on August 2, 2004well sweet heart good to see you back,

nobodysees on May 4, 2004Hiya, I just wanted to say thank you so much for choosing my poem as the winner in your contest. It was such a personal poem and that's why the win means so much to me, I suppose because it's taken me so long to be able to write about that night...Anyway, I've blabbed on enough, I just wanted to say thanks and let you know I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and judge my work

Barbara on April 6, 2004Hi there luckhole!
I would like to welcome you to Allpoetry. This is a wonderful place to share your writing with others, and to enjoy the variety of works posted here by those who share in your love of poetic expression. Allpoetry is an interactive community, which means you should comment on 4 poems for every 1 you post. The more poems you read and leave a comment on, the more your name will be seen and the more people will want to read your work.
Help - The Help link will give you more information about the site. It is an excellent page to stop at, and will answer most of your basic questions. If you have any questions about the Help page, or the AP Policy, allpoetry.com/special/policies , you can ask any of us for help. The Moderators are highlighted in blue, while Site Greeters are in green. Click on the (IM) beside the name in the poet list, type your question into the small box that will appear just below the chatterbox, and send!...
is just a mouse click away!
Membership - As a note of thanks from the site, all new members are given a free four-day trial preferred membership when they join. This allows you to post pictures with your poems and on your author page. Once the trial is over, you will no longer be able to enjoy these special benefits unless you purchase a membership for yourself. Although a membership is not required in order to post poems or comment, it does make the AP experience a bit more exciting. Further details are in the Store link at the top of the page.
Contests - Each month the Site Greeters host a contest for new poets, and allpoetry.com/contest/563435 is the one for April. At the top of the screen you will notice a Contests link, where different AP poet-hosted challenges will help inspire your creative talents, and allpoetry.com/Column/307514 is an interesting column that describes contests and how they are judged.
Emoticons - You may have noticed the emoticons, or 'smilies' that people add to comments, and the chatterbox. A list can be found here-> allpoetry.com/Column/306041
Promoting - Two options to promote your work are the Shameless Promotion section, and the Feature section. Please do not promote in the Chatter Box, Instant Message, or the Bulletin Boards. A moderator or greeter will ask you to stop, and you could be 'fined points'.
I hope you enjoy yourself here at Allpoetry, or at one of the sister sites: Storywrite, Allphilosophy, and Oldpoetry (links at the bottom of this page). If you have any questions you can IM me and I will be happy to help in any way I can. If you would like to meet the other greeters, please stop by our page, allpoetry.com/poets/AP%20Greeters
