As HOH (Head of Harem) it is my pleasure to welcome you to Hugh Wyles' Favourites Group (or "Hugh's Harem" as is has been humourously named). The Group consists of both male and female favourites which are listed in chronological order on Hugh's AP Author's Page.
It is also my pleasure to introduce you to Huguelot Castle, our fantasy home where we have good innocent diversion as Huguenauties. We hold a Ball there at least once a year with a contest for King Hugh’s Faves and invited guests. I hope you will join us in our amusement now you have become a member of Hugh's Favourites group. We run a contest from, the 1st to 22nd of each month under the Huguenauties site where the winner, by vote of all contest entrants, hosts the next contest.
Hugh, as our King, is much loved by all his favourites and we are all very proud of his wonderful poems. He will personally comment on your new postings of non-contest poems as they appear on AP and is always willing to help with correcting or editing if you email a draft to him before posting. He comments on all entries in Huguenauties' contests. You will also receive each week Queen Edna and Hugh’s weekend newsletters that hold a variety of interesting subjects.
I hope you will enjoy your stay with us and the innocent fun in which, as poets, we all share. You should now apply to our King Hugh for your Royal Title stating your preference. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you need any help.

hugh wyles : Dear Linda, on July 21, 2008I have read ALL the poems which are listed on this page and wish to say, in my humble but fairly experienced opinion, that you write VERY well. As you will see on my Author's Page, I don't comment nowadays on entries in other peoples' contests and, as I couldn't find any from your pen that were non-contest, I thought I'd drop a line here to say keep writing.
Nice to meet you and, for me, very worthwhile.
