Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment! I honestly really enjoyed the poem as well as its theme- there are times I feel exactly as the author feels- it's hard not to in this world.

If I love Shakespeare the credit does not go to me, it goes to that unique phenomenon in human civilization.

Very glad to know that your fiance is understanding. But remember, the relationships need to be built up and maintained mutually. What I hear now a days is very disturbing. May God bless you both and make you a loving couple. Wish you both well.

I'll be waiting to see your work soon ... do post something
  • karabi on March 17, 2006
For God's sake don't make writing your profession, make it your passion. It will enrich your being, not only your life. Write to please yourself, not others. Don't expect any cheers. The profession you have chosen, now the fashion, sometimes for fat salaries, is very demanding on both your time and energy. Writing is much much more demanding. You have to prepare yourself - during your apprenticeship you will lack confidence - and that is a very good sign. To gain confidence read the masters - the classics - as much as you can. In your case read the English classics - don't get lost among the so-called soft cover 'best sellers'. Pray to God you get a life partner who has the similar, not necessarily identical, tastes and can give you support and encouragement. Above all don't forget the day-to-day life, we are all walking on the earth and not flying in the sky. Keep steady, don't lose your balance. 'May each day of your life be a good day'.
  • FirstScript on March 16, 2006
what exactly do you do ?? I understand you're into some kind of publishing but what ?

Whetevr that may be, I'm touched that you seme as having talent. Writing has ben my pssion since I was very young, but I don't have the confidence to make it my profession. So here I am doing Electronics, bagging a job, and settling down in life by next year After that I'm going to go berserk with my writing

Thank you for being so nice to me Do stay in touch, even if you're not posting anything ... and trust me you should do more than just the transcreations, your original work is also very nice Take care ...

The whole of yesterday I spent on proofs, maps, charts and photographs for my forthcoming publications and came home dog-tired. I shall need at least another 15 days. I have to do everything myself, because the people I have been working with are totally useless. I have sent you an IM.
