    Thanks for the comment on "Death". I just wanted to contrast 2 thoughts of death. The first is warm and inviting because of what Jesus did for us on the cross; the second is wholly terrifying because of the absence of the Father if we do not know Him. I think your reference to Mt. 27:46 is right (thanks for reminding me of that). If the prospect of death apart from God made Jesus cry out like this, how much more would I scream? (I guess this is my thought and why I wrote those lines - there is utter despair in hope gone forever). I do not fear death because of what Jesus did for me at the cross; I thank God for His mercy and grace.

    it was great, all in all
    mars volta sucked
    peppers took the stage at 10:15 which was mad late but whatever
    played until 12:10ish
    it was insane, we had a balcony mosh pit to "by the way"

    as for changing your background, go to "my poetry" (basically, this page) and go to the top next to your name. it'll say "edit", click there, and go to the first bulleted point on the page that comes up: "Change your background with the Background Manager." that should do it.

    you can go to shameless (see on the right column? it says shameless, go there for this). for 20 points your poem will go up on that list and can be viewed by all until it's bumped off the list. advertise well and you should get a few comments.

    you can also use the paid promotion, which is VERY expensive. for that, go to "featured" (also on the right, it's the one with all the poem names in it) and click on "more" (it's below all the titles). go there and pay XY, where X is the number of "hits" you want to get on your poem and Y is how many points you'll give each person who clicks. be warned - a 20% success rate is very high there.

    lemme applaud a few poems to give you a lil boost...
