    Hey there, James. I know I am not around very much anymore, but I did want to thank you for the lovely comment you left me a while back. It's rare to get such good comments nowadays--on this site or anywhere else. I rarely post any of my poetry here now. Just random odds and ends of my writing and most of, I take down after a couple of days because, well, AlPo makes me a bit twitchy. Especially the potential for plagiarism. If (and by no means am I begging/soliciting) you have a LiveJournal account, give me your username there and I will add you to the very strict filter all of my writing can be found on. I fear you may be aghast at some of my recent dabblings, lol, but it's there for the looking. I have two--my main LJ where my poems are (and bitchrants from hell) and another for fiction of the slashy variety. As I said, if you want them, thump me and let me know. I will check back here in a couple of days.

    You know, the only reason I know aobut you, is because this "Horus" whatever guy, (can't remember the exact name) made a crack about my poetry being too abstract or something, and he told me that maybe I should start writing better, or maybe go and try to "Understand" you.



    I think back on that now. And it makes me giggle.

    Oh, and yeah, I have been kinda quiet as of late; I just haven't had the inspiration and drive to write like I used to, say, 18 months ago. It's slowly coming back, but it's not easy. I've lost interest in reading as much, which could be a reason for my lack of inspiration and ideas. Who knows?

    Scott's comment was in response to some prick that was whining at me on one of David's contests because he didn't like me saying that most poetry on this site sucks (a fact that can be easily verified). So, Scott (and a good many others) got a good laugh from the guy and responded to him in various ways. I've never found Scott to be arrogant, as I don't know him particularly well. I know he writes well, which is fine with me.

    I've been alright. A bit off tonight, but that's nothing new. How've you been?

    As I come back here, your page is always the one I stop at first. I've been so fucking far gone as of late that I fear me reading your poetry isn't the best thing for your poetry. I'm afraid my mind is so fucking twisted that I can't even make a fucking poem sound like a poem. Too many cliches happening to worry with. I was trying to make this a compliment, but as you see, it's about me, selfish I know.

    Anyway, hopefully reading the master (hehe) will make me realize that somewhere what I once had is still buried... I just hope I haven't neglected it so much that it's abandoned me completely.

    I have been reading today, not commenting appropriately but reading nonetheless. First I began with your 'page' and stumbled upon the stolen work, this is why I tend to remove pieces after just a few days. My finished collection remains on my hard drive and the many discs and flash drives that I have (perhaps I am anal in that respect). I am aghast that someone would steal your work, I am truly sorry that it had to happen to you.

    Aside from that, your writing is truly fabulous. It is often easy to tell the ones that dabble and the ones that take the craft seriously, you take it seriously and your writing is a reflection of not only that, but who you are as well. I have often said that I write for me, and I truly do but it is also wonderfully appreciated when someone can understand and relate.

    And in my longwinded breath, I wanted to tell you that I appreciate and relate to many of your pieces. Your words are truly thought-provoking. Thanks for stopping by my page.
