Thank you Sonja. This is a very nice Quatrain you have penned for me. I LOVE IT!
  • Sonja on May 15, 2006
You are always here working like on the norm,
each line is something new, new poetic form.
I wonder, when your poetic machine will stop,
or you will be with posted poetry on the top.

I just write poetry with no style, perhaps I would benefit with looking further into your way of thinking. I mostly look at the thoughts behind the poetry more than how it is written. Perhaps, I would be able to express myself better if I looked further into the form and METRE..hope I spelled that right. LOL I could use a few lessons to this. Nice picture...

Hello! Okay- here I am to sign the guestbook!

I plan to come back here and do a little reading and commenting- to see if you're REALLY as good as you seem to think yourself!

Did you use to be a teacher? Just curious... You look like one of my old college professors.

Thank you Westley for your comment. I try to assist others as you can see if you look at my comments on an entrant in my contest, "12 allpoetry.com/poem/1973254 Spring Delight (Trois-par-Huit ) by Stingersinger53. She wanted help with understanding and growing her poetry. You will see that your comment is right on target! Thanks again! Keep the pen to the paper

After reading your informative reply, I was not sure my previous comment was adequate for your comment page. You are certainly a gentleman who instills self examination in others. It sometimes seems like everything capable of being said has already been said a thousand or more times, and the name of the game is finding the right form in saying it differently once again, right? I flunked out of College my junior year for lacking the ability, or desire, to comprehend my instructors. Now, it sometimes seems like I am suffering the insideous ravages of senile decay. I am 61, soon to be 62.

you left me a comment on one of my poems saying :sorry i mussed this one:. i just wanted to see if i could get u to elaborate on what you were missing when u read this and if i made something unclear maybe i could clear it up for u. if you could do that for me it would be great cause u seem to be someone who knows what there talking about with this stuff.

Welcome to the AP site. Congratulations too on the wonderful accolades you have been awarded and the status you have achieved. Just noticed the form the Whitney that someone had written, and might have to try this one out myself. We all enjoy this site and learn much from poets like yourself who create new forms and educate the rest of us. That is how we improve our skills and grow as poets. Have a great day and Happy Easter to you.

I think the CITSORCA was harder for me than this one was though. I'm really glad your helping me to learn. I am having so much fun. I love to attempt new forms of poetry. Most of the time I only rhyme so this is an adventure for me. Thank you!

    Hallo and welcome to AP.
Maybe not the greatest introduction by myself earlier...., but hey..... I`m Roj.
I appreciate your comments and take on board. It is only by advice that people can move forward. I had believed I was in the spirit of AP, so apologies.
I comment the way I wish people would comment on me you see.
I take on board, and look forward to bumping into you in better circumstances.

Take care and enjoy the stay here.

Hi! And welcome to AP!! I am Mistic Moonlite's AP Granddaughter and intanglio2ring's AP neice. My name is Cayla. I have written several poems here on AP. I am one of the younger ones (I'm 14) but I love to write poetry as well as anything else. I recently applied and was accepted to write for my school's Newspaper. So I'm very excited. I hope you decide to stay on here at AP and I hope you enjoy it. We are really like a big family and we share our thoughts as well as other things. Please feel free to read my poetry and tell me what you think. I love comments that help me learn and I'm sure I will be asking for your advice often! Well I'm off to read! Hugs & Kisses - Cayla
