    Hi Deb,
I just read your update on the author page was in shock you wrecked your bike. Man your children really are multiplying fast heh? Have you returned to Texas since you moved up to Pennsylvania?
hope your love life keeps you inspired to write
and your children and grandkids keep you smiling.

I took a long needed vacation and now I have returned writing again.
keep your face to the North and let all the winds blow behind you till the Moon set full again.

    Well, Hello there stranger!
It's been a long time Debs ... I'm happy for you and your new found love.
May the soft breezes of peace, joy and happiness caress you both through the years to come. May your grandchildren's laughter forever be music to your ears.
    Many blessings my dear friend,

Hi Deb, I am not complaining about the lot life has dealt me, I'm still here, alive and kicking, being loved and loving someone so dear to my heart. I have friends around me, and even given the challenges I have been dealt, I'm still facing them all with a smile on my face and a poem in my heart.

I hope you and your ever growing beautiful family, have a safe and wonderful new year. And may the next one bring you more special gifts than the last.... you deserve it.

    Much love and light

    Karen

    Nice meeting you as well.
I think I read somewhere that you were in a cast and it was hard to type. I know all too well! LOL! One handed typing is awful to have to do, but I think I will be doing it for a while.
I plan on getting back on a bike, but it will probably be 06 or 07 before I buy another one. It's hard enough going downstairs and not seeing my bike here!
    Nice meeting you!
  • Catressa on October 24, 2005
Grinning reading your page.. Several things in common.. First my son is named Tristen lol he is ten and spitting image of me (poor boy hates his freckles) Second I am in a sling right now cause I dislocated my shoulder. I only wish I could say I did it doing something cool like riding a Harley, but oh no I did it simply playing with my kids, fell and boom.. I go broke.. I do hope you will get back up on your Hog and just be a little careful, Take Care Nice meeting you, Catressa

Your author name caught my attention, so I thought I'd stop by and check out some of your writings, but I was so impressed with your author page that I had to leave a comment. You seem like a very strong woman. Congratulations on getting out of that bad situation. Also, you don't look old enough to have grown children, let alone grandchildren!!!

That is a good looking Granddaughter that you have there; take good care of her. I have two Granddaughters and two Grandsons as well. I love kids; I had three of my own--all grown now. That makes me feel old when I stop to think that the youngest one is 25. She says that I was old when she was born, but I was only 32 at the time. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that she is a good looking girl. Of course, you already knew that. Still, Grandparents like knowing that other people notice.

Hey Tex, long time no see. Thank you for the comments. It's really one of those poems that are hard to be clever with. I wrote it several years ago (in the 80's), and tried, half-heartedly, to work on it occasionally. I have been off the net for a while so I need some catching up. I'll start with yours. See ya down the road, John.
