Hey welcome to AP Michigander (me too). I just saw your lament on one of Keith's poems, to wit: "You've sort of restored my faith in rhyme."

Well, if you find yourself hovering on the brink of a tall building while contemplating suicide as you load your pistol and crack open a bottle of arsenic... you might consider stopping by and reading some of my offerings... at worst you'll only continue what you were going to do anyway, and at best you'll form an addiction, enjoy life, run for President and earn millions selling your story to a hungry desperate press.

disclaimer: i don't know how allpoetry works yet, so when i'm replying i have NO idea if its 'appropriate' to leave you a message or a comment or a 'guestbook comment' or whatever. so, here's a guestbook reply, heh.
thanks a bunch for leaving my first poem review. i don't write a whole lot, and honestly, it was Libby who essentially inspired me to 'start'. and allpoetry is a good place to 'hide all of my secrets', at least from who they need to be hid from. and since i keep no secrets from Libby, allpoetry is like a huge honest-fest for me. so, never fear, the honesty will not be lost among the many poems of allpoetry.
you're, like, my first fan. it's flattering. haha. thanks!

  • chills : Have been away for a while from AP on November 30, 2008
But the best part about being back is to catch up on Meek's work. He is wonderful with words and a thoughly nice person into the bargain, as far as I can see. Just glad I happened by him as he put his first toe in the AP water. He really swims now. xx

I remember when I first started here. Everything was a bit confusing. If you have deleted a poem, you might be able to undelete it.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and tell you that I'm glad you're here and I think you'll be a definite asset to AP. Your poems that I've read so far are interesting and well done. Yes, I've made suggestions, but we all need to keep working on our stuff. When you write in a minimalist style, you're very good. And I love your titles.

Welcome to the site. Hang in there. You'll figure it all out.

Guestbooks are confusing, aren't they? I'm afraid of mine, myself. For all I know, it might bite or magically disappear.

    Hi Meek.

This is the Guestbook for other poets to just say hi and such if they want to.

Welcome to AP and don't give up and delete your page. Some people can be harsh or rude in their comments on poetry, but most are here to spur you on and enjoy reading other poets writing.
