Hope you are having a wonderful day
That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way
Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall
What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat

As if you disorganize the superficiality of life, and make it what you want it to be. You are a persuasive writer and that is something that takes mad talent. Please do not promote your own poetry in the Chatterbox area. This is not desired or allowed. We do have a "Shameless Promotions" area for this. For 20 points, you can promote your masterpieces there. Also, you may feature one of your own poems in the "Featured" box by going to the bottom of your poem page and placing a point bid. If you click on and read a poem in the Featured box, please be sure to leave a comment, as it cost the author some of their own points to place it there.
