Pisces Pieces on January 26, 2008I just stopped by to say HI! I sure do miss you and talking to you Hopefully I can come back later today (we'll see if I can get my homework done) and read some of your poems! I am so far behind, I'm sorry
My mom is in the hospital again (seems to be something with the start of my new semesters, so I guess it's a good thing this is my last one for awhile)...but it's getting scarier and scarier everytime, I don't really know how to act or what to think because I really don't want to think of the inevitable. Other than that, things carry on as usual...except for my secrets inside (wait, those pretty much carry on as usual too, dammit anyway).
Anyway, how are things? And the children? But especially you??!
Okay, enough rambling for a little while. Maybe I should try to write something later too (I just noticed, while browsing your homepage, I can't believe you have over 400 poems!!)

bruntbeauty on June 27, 2007Thank you very much Dawn. I like to think I'm healing. I've been feeling 100% more confident about myself and where my life is headed. I guess acceptance played a key role in all of this. Thank you for the comments - I always appreciate them! I think my writing is improving as well. I wasn't doing so great there for a while because all of my dreams were kind of crushed but I'm back on my feet now. You're an amazing person, always remember that. You've shown me nothing but kindness and played a role in boosting my confidence. I can't say thank you enough! I'll always be here for you Dawn, anytime you need me. I have yet to repay the kindness you've shown me.

bruntbeauty on May 31, 2007Talking does help a lot. So thank you for being here. We're doing just fine. I OFFICIALLY find out the gender on June 11th so I'm psyched! But I'm leaving for Texas tomorrow, I'm really excited about that as well. I'm just getting so sick of everyone's lies and drama so I'm cutting down on friends, WAYYY down. My baby doesn't need to be around that, so it won't. Speaking of the baby, its amazing! It keeps moving around and I think it feels so great! How have you been?

Grey Mouser on July 16, 2006If you take your self out of your poetry, what do you think that will accomlish? To me poetry is all about the feeling. That is where you write from. If you remove yourself from it it will fall flat and ring untrue. I've just recently started doin this but it has always seemed to me that the best have always put themselves into it. Keep writing what you feel and see. That is what we all love.
