Remember when this was our place? Can we make it our place again?

  • Fimmy on July 21, 2006
I'm back! I definitely love the first quote on your page. I'm a diehard Sappho reader (as is expected XD)
Your comment was very helpful, I'm still toying with that line though, I have a lot of those sort of lines.
Anywho, I had some new poems I had hoped you would look at, I'll definitely be checking up on your new ones soon^^
    with much love,
    Amberly

    Here's a secret:

I hate that you took away all your poems.

  • etrangere on January 14, 2005
It's like clouds. How they look white, but if you look really carefully, you see all those different colors and shades... ever so subtle but still amazing.
  • etrangere on January 14, 2005
Point taken. I cannot argue my point any further. I agree that there is beautiy in simplicity, but there is also beauty in complexity, right? Yes, white is more than first meets the eye, and, there is much more to you that any of us will ever see. I guess I have come to like you as white ( with darkness mixed in).
  • Grazia on January 14, 2005
    Exactly. I live beyond color.

As for beauty, as I said before, there is more beauty in simplicity then I think we even know.

White, by the way, is the existance of all color. So think of me as all colors with some darkness mixed in. That's me.
  • etrangere on January 14, 2005
I guess I always thought of you as a rainbow. I know that sounds cheezy, and you idea of being different shades between the two most opposite colors is definatly interesting, but doesn't that limit you? Whay can't you be green, blue, yellow, red orange, pink, purple, everything in between them, and all of the shades of gray? You're too beautiful and complex to just be a mix of only two.

    tag.
  • Grazia on January 13, 2005
ah, I am a million shades.
  • etrangere on January 3, 2005
I know you enough to know that you are too deep, too complex to be only a shade of gray. Tell me if I'm wrong, though.
  • Grazia on January 3, 2005
    so you know me best?
  • etrangere on January 3, 2005
No, I'm not, and either are you.
  • Grazia on January 3, 2005
    ah but you are
  • etrangere on January 3, 2005
There is definately a beauty in black and white, especially photographs. I LOVE black and white photographs... much more that colored ones. Yes, I think they capture an emotion which colored pictures can't reproduce, but I would never want to see in only black and white. How could you want to kever see the different shades in someone's eyes, or the color of sunsets, or the bright color of flower petals in spring, or the red in someone's cheeks... I could never do without all of that.

You are right though, there is a beauty in it simplicity, and I think that it can capture emotion in a way color can't (then again emotion is often described in color... go figure). Both are beautiful, but I could never want to lose color. Nothing is just black or white, and I refuse to believe I am only a shade of gray.
  • Grazia on January 3, 2005
besides, I'm known for making my own fun anyway.. : )

There's more beauty in simplicty then I could ever describe. I don't see how it would make life more easier, I rely to much on sight anyway, somethings need to be felt.
  • etrangere on January 2, 2005
But that would take away everything... it might make life easier, by what's the fun... the beauty in that?
  • Grazia on January 2, 2005
Ahhh..chicabean, that's our difference, I wish "Every color would be black and white"

As my one of my (several ) poetic fans, I was wondering which one of my poems you thought was most profound, not best, or coolest, or most confusing, but most profound. Let me know what you think.

I found this quote in the paper this morning. Thought it might be of interest to one such as yourself.

    Only the shallow know themselves.

Someone's really getting on her razzle dazzle. Nah, you know I love it. But I have to say, the songs you left out seem to be more important here, or are they? Anyway, loved the facelift and do intend to return the (comenting)favor. You know how I loath being outdone. XOXO

So new background, new (actual) description. Not too shabby! I’m not entirely thrilled about the whole “forced” you to join. FORCED YOU TO CONSIDER joining is more like it. After all, you filled out most of the information. Bah!
    Grazia

P.S.- You might want to consider deleating the comment from Barbara, she seems nice and all but...you know...
