brokenpoet on July 23, 2006I must say, I have read every single poem you have posted on here so far and I'm so impressed! Your writes are so beautiful, loving, moral, and innocent! I LOVE how you write about fairytales.
I really loved your one about the rainforest and a woman's heart being made of gold, I actually enjoyed them all. You said in a lot of your author's comments that you're proud of what you've written reguardless if other people like it or not. That's such a wonderful way for you to feel. If you like it and someone else doesn't don't change it unless you REALLY feel like it should be. Because when you wrote that poem you encrypted your feelings for that moment in time, and that's a moment you can't get back. Sort of like a photograph.
Ever thought about writing how you are your own hero? That you don't need a knight in shinning armor to come save you because you are your own knight in shinning armor? That you are strong enough to fight for yourself and you don't need a boy to fight your battles?
I really think you'd do well with that topic!
That is, if you would decide to go with it! If not, that's okay!
Please keep writing, and if you don't mind I'm going to put you on my list of favorites because I LOVE your poetry so much!
