    Actually I'm a Scot but have lived iived in Australian half my life and of course am now a citizen. Started out in Melbourne for about 18 years and now Brisbane for the last 4 years, where are you?

    hey earmarti... am also in my forties..always had a love of writing..and now that I'm laid off from work.. I find I've become addicted to this..I also write from life experiences..and have a hardtime with 'rules' for writing..see you're not the only one..I hale from the USA... and yes..the simple things are precious..we should cherish them...peace..Shzoosy

    welcome to the boards. this site can be very addictive, especially when you first catch wind of it. there's nothing wrong with that. it's safe!!!! you let him know that. it's ok to start doing things at different times in your life because life changes constantly. some people beging writing and then grow out of it. anyways, good luck to you and your new talents.
