JenP : Duana!! on October 8, 2008
I know, I've been gone forever. I just get so caught up in life sometimes. It's one of those things you know. I finally had some time, though. I was thinking, where have I not gone in a long time? Lol. I've missed it. I never have time for anything anymore, let alone writing. I'm gong to try to change that. Really gonna try. I've missed you! Hope you've been well!

Hi. I just got back on this website and i need more friends. I am also a strong believer in God. Who's your favorite singer?

Duana, I am sorry for not keeping in contact and I see you have SEVERAL new writes... I just got my computer back up and running with the internet as a virus attacked it and I couldn't rid myself of it so I had to format my harddrive... but I will keep up on ya from now on. I am also trying to write more often as I have yet to post on here for like a year now! So anyways... I will hopefully hear from you soon and talk to you later girl! Miss ya bunches!

I wandered across your author's page and enjoyed being there. "...The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell..." These words are very true and are the foundation of the awareness from which we try to live.
-
Duana, I'm so glad that I got oppotunity to read and comment on your poems. Allpoetry is a okay site. You are a talented writer. I hope you keep writing.

Havent heard from you in a while, how are you?
-
Hi Duana! I haven't been on this site for a very long time! I have become soooo busy but I miss writing. I'll be on here more often now. How have you been?
-
Thank you for your kind words. The only way I can write it must come from the heart. If you only had one hour to live what you write about. This only hour you have left. What type of impression do you want to leave to the world. I think and feel it sometime that comes from the heart. With tears of passion. The comment you gave me. Lifted my heart. Have a great day.

Thanks for your comment on "A Letter To my Employer." For the record, (as far as I know) my boss and I share no animosity. The poem is just my response to a specific incident.
As for the quote, I'm glad you like it. You should definitely look up the poet who said it (Buddy Wakefield, two-time World Poetry Slam champion) and the poem it comes from ("Older People") through Google or another such search engine. Wakefield should have a copy on his wesbite, www.buddywakefield.com.
For more on slam poetry, check on my allpoetry homepage (allpoetry.com/poets/k-dense), or any of the following sites: www.poetryslam.com, www.nationalpoetryslam.com,www.livepoets.com, www.podslam.org, www.slamnation.com.
In the meantime, thanks again for your kind words and please feel free to read some/any/all of my additional works posted on this site.

LOL now look at this, there is even a question above this box asking why this author is great! Well hey that's not why I came by but I'll amuse everyone. The reason why Duana is so great is because she has a kind heart and a sweet soul. She was my first friend on allpoetry and always will be a good friend of mine. And yes Duana, I went from a sweet guy to The AP Pimp but that doesn't mean I have changed any! I was a nice pimp, but as you can see . . . I am no longer the pimp... I am a taken man and I plan on spending the rest of my life with this one! Btw, you can get to know her as well... her name on here is Radiantflower !!! I love her to death and I hope you two can talk one of these days. So take care Duana and be good!
Signing off,
Steve

I read some of your work a year or so ago, and am now rereading old entries and reading your current work for the first time. It is all like eating chocholate, too good to put into words, just feels really good. thanks

Darling
Starting with the bard is impressive and I always loved pink on others. I never felt like a super girly girl though I modelled cosmetics, face and hair, before becoming a bar owner, now two. Still, I love shout outs. Write until you weep and then go to sleep refreshed by angels at night. Smoosh before I whoosh.

Hello. So I see where I said my schedule was winding down. That was a little crazy of me since it seems to not be so. Sigh. I wish. The next two weeks will be especially busy, but I've been feeling the need to take a minute to write more and more these days, so maybe you'll be seeing me around.
-
Hello Duana long time no talk! Well I just thought I would stop by and show a little love for one of my favorite poets on this site! I hope everything is going well for you up there and I hope you are still continuing to write some of your beautiful poetry! But anyways, I just stopped by to say Hi and make sure you didn't forget about me!!!
Bye,
Himscencia aka Steve

I know, I've been absent. I've got good reason. A grueling schedule. Gah. It's winding down. Kind of. Take care!

Supplementary solitary tea. Every syllable extends this existence into the next, but we hear echoes and the reality of every suplication spoken in our bequest. May we walk in the shadows of bent light, and step in the residuals of darker parts exposed to the sun. Always the commentor ~ EZB

I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way
Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall
What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat
Happy Holidays Gregg

Duana!! I'm finally going to have time to write and read now, for a few weeks anyway. I have so missed talking with you like we always did. How are you? How is everything? I hope your classes are going good, I didn't take any because I knew I wouldn't be able to give it the time it would have needed and deserved. You know it's funny, a few years ago I had all the time in the world and everyone else was busy except for me and now I'm busier than I've ever been. Guess that's what happens when you go to school and work at the same time. Anyway, I hope we get to catch up some more later and if I don't talk to you before then, but I really hope I will, I hope you have the best Christmas and a very happy New Year!

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
